Re: Ask!
This isn't a question, just something I want to say, and this seems as good a place as any to say it. Thank you for Katawa Shoujo. All of you. Quite some time ago, a friend of mine mentioned this offhand to me, and told me about a visual novel whose premise sounded like the setup for an exceedingly ...

Re: Save game transfering?
Thanks.
Is the "persistent" file the one that remembers, like, what scenes I've unlocked and stuff, and the others are individual saves?

So I just downloaded the game and did the entirety of Rin's path in one sitting.
And I just want to say... thank you. For making this whole thing happen, and for sharing this story with the world.

Save game transfering?
I'll be doing a spot of traveling soon, and it would be nice to have some KS on the go. Good thing to take up a long ride.
So I'm wondering. What files do I have to copy in order to take my saves from one computer to another?

It took more than one reading, I'll admit. I meant what I said in my comment, though. You can really feel the love.

That was actually rather nice! Yes, it was smutty, but it was also cute and sweet, and captured a nice sense of sensuality. And that ending...I d'awwed.
Also: "His hands began to wonder"? Might wanna fix that.

I've heard of Yume Nikki!
Anyway. I'm not sure what's happening in that SD pic, but it's definitely amusing.

Re: Tips for fanfiction writers (that means YOU)
A good rule of thumb is, I've found, whenever you switch from narrative dialogue and vice-versa, that's generally a good place for a new paragraph. It can be a bit tricky when you're writing bits with a lot of narrative and little to no dialogue, but in that case, generally the best thing to do is j...

Re: Reach for the Stars
Has anyone here ever played Snatcher, for the Sega CD? It had some adventure game trappings and a couple of shooting gallery segments (some of which were tacked on to make the game appeal more to American audiences), but it was more or less a visual novel. A pretty good one, too. Good voice-acting t...

Re: Katawa Kijo
Interesting premise you've got going there. Since you're just setting things up at the moment, I can't say much about the story. However, it's as good a way to present the obligatory infodump as any, so it's good that you're getting that out of the way. And on the technical side of things, you write...
