Re: Hanako bad ending discussion
The people who believe Hanako's reaction was excessive remind me of Hisao in her bad end, absolutely without a clue as to how to act and treat someone else.

Re: Should I finish Emi's path?
The dead father is dead in all of her endings. Unless he is somehow a zombie, brought back from the dead with magic, but that is impossible and laughable.

That's a horrible analogy, nacho. Please come up with a better one. I'd like to hear more of what you have to say.

Re: The Rin arc is so frustrating
i really do want to like rin; she seems cool in a way. i just wouldn't want, or be able to, have a relationship with her. the best i can do is have a friends-with-benefits relationship with her and just hang out with her from time to time, much like emi .

Re: Visual effects in Katawa Shoujo
Ooh, yes. I really like the scene at Shizune's house where Misha, after getting her hair cut , runs a wide circle behind all the characters and then reveals her new hair cut . I thought it really fit her personality and it even fit the text. Nice job! I also liked how the Emi sprite gets closer to t...

Re: The Rin arc is so frustrating
Even if Rin does display some characteristic of an Asperger's sufferer, or even has a mild and unique case of it, it's certainly not her defining characteristic or one that would lead an individual to identify with her . Yes, her autism-like uniqueness was her defining characteristic. Being unarmed...

Re: Emi's Bad Ending Made Me Sad
I think Emi was wonderfully written (even though it hurt). I almost think the author probably knew someone like her or went through a similar breakup.

Re: Rin's neutral ending
Rin's "rainy street" ending was her bad end. The neutral ending was the "open arms" one at the end of act 4, because although Hisao 'gets' the girl and they love one another, he now has to deal with her awkwardness without an easy way out. The good end, where he tells Rin what he...
