Re: What, this old (new) thing?

Her roommate may be Mai, but is she -that- Mai, Hisao's old friend? That would be one coincidence too many. No, I pulled the name out of my ass when I realized it was time to give her a name (to be honest, I'd forgotten about Hisao's friend entirely). The style is certainly... unique. In the beginn...

Re: What, this old (new) thing?

Me again. That's as far as I got. There's an itch to see how it develops, and maybe next time I'm stuck at work I'll add a little more--but my track record is pretty lousy when it comes to this sort of thing, so adjust expectations accordingly.

Re: What, this old (new) thing?

Mai may be slightly out of touch when it comes to the overall demeanor of her occasional roommate, but she’s sensitive enough to notice that Emi has brightened up significantly. Feeling slightly concerned that she’d somehow failed to notice her roommate’s dour mood until now, and because they are fr...

What, this old (new) thing?

I'm not sure what got my brain meandering down this particular path, but I found myself looking at some older writing of mine the other day. I have a file, appropriately titled "scraps," where I write various bits of stories and ideas and, occasionally, intensely self-indulgent things like...

Let's see, this all kicked off in 2006, right? So I would have been 21. Good lord.

Re: Ask!

I don't know if this has been asked before (first time on since 2013) but do any of you guys still hangout, talk or keep in touch since after the last few years? Yep. Some of us even have met up in MEATSPACE (I am not one of those people, because I do not live near Japan, which is where most of the...

Is Miki have a specific sexual orientation? Or she's just really open-minded about this?

Yeah, it's an akward question, but I need to know this for my writting XD
Miki is whatever you want her to be, I don't think we ever thought super-hard about it or at all.

Hey man some of us don't go to hospitals because we can't afford them and just use haphazard first aid techniques when we get hurt.

Re: Iwanako: Mean Time to Breakdown {updated 2015-4-1}

Did I really spend money on the "soundtrack" to Shadows of the Empire when I was younger? Counterpoint: I owned this . Even as a little girl listening to that album, I was like "what exactly the fuck is going on here?" The nineties were so weird . OH MAN THAT FUCKING ALBUM. I di...

Re: Iwanako: Mean Time to Breakdown {updated 2015-4-1}

Soundtracking, eh? Always a curious pursuit to me. I am, of course, a sucker for bringing in things that require additional effort when it comes to reading--and music's always been an intriguing element to add in. The only problem I run into with this sort of thing is a difficulty in pacing. When yo...

Re: In Which I have been reading too much Raymond Chandler

I think I had a part five half-written somewhere, but alas! That laptop was stolen. Just read this and really impressed with how well you nailed the noir. Sad that we'll never find out what noir Rin is up to. Oh well, guess I'll just have to go rewatch Brick to get my fill of high school noir. Yeah...
