Re: I wish Misha had her own route *spoilers for Shizune's r
As far as that one comment is concerned, though, have to agree on the facepalm. Agreed. As a general rule I don't like labeling people -- Misha might be gay, she might be bi, she might be neither. Much as we like to talk about gay/straight/bi the reality is that those are fairly arbitrary categorie...

Re: A pseudo-pseudo Suzu route (updated 8/10)
I second this. I think you guys are thinking a little too hard about this, but that's just my opinion. I'm not worried about the counseling aspect, since people are dumb about that all the time. That said, though, there's no reason whatsoever she shouldn't be on appropriate meds to deal with her co...

Re: A pseudo-pseudo Suzu route (updated 8/10)
Also, narcolepsy isn't a mental health issue, so I don't see the need to see a psychiatrist. Seeing a counselor long-term to cope with her brother's death would probably be a good idea though. Uh... That's what I meant. I don't see how a psychiatrist could help with narcolepsy anyway. Is there a di...

Re: A pseudo-pseudo Suzu route (updated 8/10)
I don't see her condition as being bad enough to warrant being institutionalized. Nor did I imply that. Yes, she should see a psychiatrist. Maybe she should take medication. No, there shouldn't be any need for institutionalization. Yeah, I've been wondering about the lack of meds for awhile now. Th...

Re: A pseudo-pseudo Suzu route (updated 8/10)
It might also help to point out that the Japanese are a lot less likely to seek psychiatric help/counseling than most Westerners are, as it's something that Just Isn't Done in Japan. That's changing these days (quite a lot since the turn of the millennium, in fact), and Suzu's parents seem awfully p...

Re: Meanwhile I wait [Hisao x original character]
Your Rin continues to impress. I'm a bit fuzzy on why Hisao was so confused, though; he didn't seem that bad at the end of the last chapter. I mean, yes, Miya's bewildering in the best of times, but here he's acting like his brain has shorted out. It's a little odd. But that's a minor quibble. Emi w...

Re: A pseudo-pseudo Suzu route (updated 8/1)
This seemed to be built up to be something other than survivor's guilt, so the bulk of your rant somewhat misses the point.
But whatever. I enjoyed the chapter immensely and don't want to argue about it, so moving right along . . .

Re: A pseudo-pseudo Suzu route (updated 8/1)
I like the update, but I'm kinda with Mirage on the big reveal. With the amount of guilt she's carrying around I expected something more specific, something she could twist into making her out to be responsible. As is, I'm not really seeing it.

Re: A pseudo-pseudo Suzu route (updated 7/30)
I think Scissorlips knows we'll lynch him if we don't get the big reveal the next chapter, and he's basically said we'll have it then. So it's time to buck up, grit our teeth, and hope for the best!

Re: A pseudo-pseudo Suzu route (updated 7/30)
You know, there's a downside to writing stories from someone's point of view: It's hard to keep secrets. Have you ever tried to have an inner monologue with yourself and NOT touch a certain topic? Did it work? Thought so. So, when we're in Suzu's head and she manages to not think about whatever bug...

Yeah, no complaints here, either. I don't mind if the story meanders a bit so long as its a fun ride. This story definitely qualifies so I say meander away!

Re: Tea Time with Miki
I liked it well enough, but it kind of fell apart at the end. It would have been nice to see all of that fleshed out rather than delivered as a summary. The earlier part was solid though.
