This seemed to be built up to be something other than survivor's guilt, so the bulk of your rant somewhat misses the point.

But whatever. I enjoyed the chapter immensely and don't want to argue about it, so moving right along . . .

I like the update, but I'm kinda with Mirage on the big reveal. With the amount of guilt she's carrying around I expected something more specific, something she could twist into making her out to be responsible. As is, I'm not really seeing it.

I think Scissorlips knows we'll lynch him if we don't get the big reveal the next chapter, and he's basically said we'll have it then. So it's time to buck up, grit our teeth, and hope for the best!

Yeah, no complaints here, either. I don't mind if the story meanders a bit so long as its a fun ride. This story definitely qualifies so I say meander away!

I liked it well enough, but it kind of fell apart at the end. It would have been nice to see all of that fleshed out rather than delivered as a summary. The earlier part was solid though.
