Re: Kenji's Story

Mm. I see. I was actually just curious on what people think on Kenji's life after Hisao's death; whether it actually translates into a fanfic or fanwork was not the primary motive. Still, I'll edit off the post just because.

Kenji's Story

Started after the death of Hisao Nakai. Not sure if it's discussed before, so I'll just throw it out here for discussion.

Re: Rin's Path discussion *spoilers*

It's more of a matter of building resistance to values, and reading books is one way to get them.

Re: Rin's Path discussion *spoilers*

I don't get why people are fussing over bad ends. I've went through three routes (Shizune, Lily, Rin) and Lily's bad end is actually the good end cut short , and Rin's bad end involves a conversation brought in too soon, too early, and would STILL be read as you proceed further into the good end . T...

Re: Online Japanese KS reception

There are few VNs that are actually worth reading. There's probably only around thirty or slightly more VNs that I would rate as good, and I've read a lot since... hmm. KS Act 1 was my first VN, now that I think about it. I don't remember the exact year though. I don't think there's a need to worry ...

Re: Shizune's path

You can perhaps say that Shizune' route follows greatest the path of normality. I haven't went through Shizune's bad end, in fact the only path I've went through is her good route (I so horribly regret not bringing my laptop along to my vacation, this netbook my sister got for free is total shit), b...

Re: Recommend a VN

Game-oriented VN introduction GO! Battle Goddess VERITA is an extremely well made RPG game/VN. While the story does not quite shine (As do many VNs with gameplay) and that the game is 4th of its series, its style and execution is refreshing enough that a dungeon crawler hater like me actually enjoys...

Re: What you WOULD want to happen in the story

Most Japanese VNs simply aim for one theme/sex/gags, and although they read hilarious at first it gets very boring over time. Currently, the company which I think produces the most amount of interesting VNs are Nitroplus (Not Chaoshead, it's bad in my opinion). I love how they execute evil themes in...

Re: Recommend a VN

If you didn't play the VN, you didn't know the story. The anime is a far cry from it.

Re: Recommend a VN

Skip Sharin no Kuni or read it before G-Senjou no Maou, Sharin no Kuni is pretty bad, it does a ton of nonsensical bullshit just to make the lives of the protagonists more horrible to the point where it really stops making sense and becomes overly apparent that the writer is just trying to put the ...

You mean why it's clear? Not sure, but probably because it uses a lot less slang unlike certain VNs.

Re: Recommend a VN

Is there actually a translation for Baldr sky? I looked it up a bit and am very interested, but I cant find a translation anywhere :( The game's pretty much impossible to translate or would take more than a year with a full time team. I dare say that the each storyline is longer than F/SN's excludi...

Re: Recommend a VN

Katahane. Yuri (Well mixed, but more yuri heavy), but the story is quality enough that you'd be compelled to read. It lacks a LOT of content (Too much Kurohane, not enough Shirohane); starting up really well but fell short in the end, but its music and the one star character Coco somewhat makes up ...
