Re: The problem with Shizune

@$&*(@$%^&@($ I'm not finding the scene -- at least not immediately. I can remember the thing clearly. Hisao gets drafted to help the SC right after the festival, SHizune spells out the work while Shizune gets dinner, Hisao and Misha sort the receipts into piles, Shizune comes back and scatt...

Re: The problem with Shizune

Shizune has a demonstrated habit of falsifying financial reports and playing fast and loose with discretionary funds. These habits bode rather poorly for a future incarceration-free lifestyle. "Demonstrated habit"... :D ... this one belongs in the headcanon thread, methinks. Nope, Misha s...

Re: The problem with Shizune

People aren't the most accurate reports of their own motivations, especially not fictional people :) Shizune says "[All I wanted was to... make people happy, I think]". The factual nature of this is that Shizune strongly believes that her motivation is to make people happy. Looking at the ...

Re: Recommend a VN

All things considered, I thought the new DLC in Everlasting Summer made sense and was pretty straightforwards. Compared to the rest of the game.

Re: Random KS Discussion

I believe it was mentioned in the VN that Emi had to skip a year, and so actually is a year older than her classmates. She's 19 when the VN happens.

Re: The problem with Shizune

Yes and no. Sometimes providing support and/or working from behind the scenes to ensure one's partner achieves their goal (which I thought you might have been implying) is the right kind of complement for a particular person. I just don't think it's the right kind of complement for Shizune . I thin...

Re: Random KS Discussion

I had thought Hisao gets his heart attack near the end of his second year, and starts at Yamaku at the start of his third year. In Iwanako's letter she talks about being in a third-year class, which supports this timeline (assuming he's in the same cohort as her).

Re: The problem with Shizune

I find Hisao's statement that he will continue to chase Shizune incredibly poignant. Always chasing implies never catching up to. If the context when he said the statement is before he and Shizune became a couple, then yes, that may be true. But thing is, with the ending we have both of them gradua...

Re: Katawa Und Panzer

How about Stuarts? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M3_Stuart They have a squirrel gun for a main gun but they're fast as all get out. I used to play WW2 mini warfare, and we had a guy that was an expert at timing. He'd take his Stuarts, drive madly across the battlefield, then drive up *directly behind...

Re: Katawa Und Panzer

How about something that's not German? Those have a tendency to catch on fire and I doubt Hanako would enjoy that Uh...how about a sherman? Shermans were good tanks with one slight design flaw: the ammo supply wasn't very well protected. If the tank gets hit, it usually catches on fire, but y...

Re: Do I want to see the bad/neutral endings?

The thing I really like about Emi's route I in order to get Emi to accept someone else's assistance, Hisao has to accept assistance from someone else -- either Mutou or Misha.
