Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Gragon, Nyzer, Yes there is still a bit of a double standard. If a girl likes a guy then it might be hard for her to understand that his being aloof is not him being "cool" and "manly", but simply a sign that he doesn't like her that much. Gragon, I understand why you get angry, ...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Auratus, this is clearly a case of "if you love her let her go". I said before, I was in a similar situation, and all it ended up being was a complete waste of time. I know you long for this lady very much (I did so for the one I idolized) but get this straight: She will never love you! Ne...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Auratus, thank you for you story. Sorry to say, but it sounds to me that your crush isn't interested in you romantically. You told her that you'd like to hug her, which is although a bit clumsy, a way in which you told her that you liked her more than just a friend. If she was interested in a relati...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Great, Dwarduk! Now keep at it! I hear you'll have a lot of work to do and not so much time to do it, so focus from the beginning. And don't forget the social aspect, it's may be fine occasion to meet a girlfriend too. ;)

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Well, I'm glad you were lucky, but remember that going just by dumb luck isn't very reliable. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your new school.

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

OtakuNinja,

Sorry if it sounds harsh, but if you really wanted to switch you should have done something about it 2 months ago. Then it would not have become "impossible" now. Time wait for no man, you got to do what you want while you can.

Re: Katawa Shoujo has gotten me my first job

Silentcook, please don't be too modest. He did find his own job, but KS kicked him to do it. You guys made a VN chock-full of catharsis. You can be proud of that.

Anyway, great to hear this, keep at it. I'm sure more good things will come your way if you stay the course. :)

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Exbando, there's nothing much to be nervous about I think, since it's clear there's no chance that she will have a crush on you. Also, I think it won't endanger your friendship, as long as you tel her in a non-threatening way. someting like "I had a crush on you for six years but now I want to ...

Oddball, who knows? Perhaps there will be other "Lilly's" too, perhaps she'll have advanced enough to be willing to at least not "go do something" when approached.

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Xiious, I think it ight be a very good idea to make some distance between you and that place. It only holds memories of the past for you, and those are not really comforting to you right now. Your future is most likely elsewhere. I hope you'll find a nice place to live as soon as possible.

Re: what do you think life for Hanako is like in

Bak on topic: I think without Hisao, Hanako does get to the level where she is at the end of her own thread, but it takes longer. She's very intelligent, and probably she has some money from the insurance, so it's not unlikely that she'll go study in university, also because this will allow her to &...

Re: Myshina.

Well , I think course it sounds very dramatical, that someone would get into such relational problems and then get robbed by a stranger and end up in the hospital. It does sound like something that wouldn't happen in reality, because it's "too bad to happen". So it may be an elaborate trol...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Ah Japan! I have been there so many times already. There is nothing quite like it, both in good and in bad things. We can learn much from them and they could learn much from us. For people who like anime, video games, etc... it's really the country to go to. If you don't have any other reason to do ...
