Reorientation

Chapter 3: Reorientation "Really, I'm disappointed in Mr. Yamamoto. I expected him to at least send a human soul to greet Nakai, not a mon-- er, that is..." Voices. That would be Chiasa, I think. Someone sighs. "I did explain to Mr. Yamamoto that it would have been best to send a huma...

Re: Kikai Shoujo

Kikai Shoujo ---> Machine Girl? Or is it Opportunity/Chance Girl? Somehow the former reminded me of 'Kikou Shoujou wa Kizutsukanai', so that definitely peaked my interest... I'm going by the romaji form of 奇怪, meaning weird, strange, or wonderful, depending on context. I got there from Yokai, which...

Taking a breather

Chapter 2: Taking a breather I'm not sure how long I've been standing here staring at the walls. At least I've had the presence of mind to get dressed. The uniform provided for me fits perfectly, I wonder how they knew my size. I take a few more minutes to try and evaluate how I feel about this unex...

Re: Kikai Shoujo

So dead people can have medical emergencies, need an education, and can be forced to work in perpetuity? :? Wow, that's a really shitty afterlife. Hm, all things will be revealed in good time. I expect the girls have also met an untimely demise, or it wouldn't make much sense to use any KS connecti...

Re: Moonlight Sonata

These are all three really great little stories! I really enjoyed the first, I love the idea of Shizune keeping something that she enjoys such a closely guarded secret, since she knows she'll never be the best at it. For the second one, I think you did a good job getting across the fear and despair...

They also capture the essence of Haiku best. There is more to it than just counting syllables...

Re: Stars and Stripes

Not my usual choice of subject matter, BUT, the characterizations are interesting and the prose is easy to read. I like short, sweet and to the point.

Well done
Head canon? Sorry, I'm not up with the lingo.
It means that as far as I am concerned, your stories are as "real" as the game is.

Thanks for the complement :D

I must have order. Within me, without others, I'll not compromise. -- Silvery moonlight, Your glory I'll never know, Lest my love tells me. -- What is the word for-- No, now it is forgotten, 'Tis lost in the clouds. -- My pain is my own, It's not ever to be shared, Except with you. -- Butterfly in f...

Re: Moonlight Sonata

I'm not a writer, and I have some difficulty interpreting my thoughts into words. I hope that this captures the scene as it payed out in my mind. I somehow doubt it, but I tried. I know exactly what you mean. It can be really frustrating at times. But that, sir, is a neat and original piece of fict...
