Re: Emi inspired running/workout

By the end of this week I shall be half way through the Bridge to 10K program.

Is there anything to do after it is finished?

Hahaha oh wow. I asked for some running music and received a soundtrack for life.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

What music does everyone listen to when running? I'm sick of Touhou and want something new.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Second: Said running in the middle of the night around the block might be quite an extreme experience in some neighbourhoods. If anyone tries to mug you scream "EMMIIIII!" at the top of your lungs while charging at them. I guarantee they won't fuck with you again. Anyway, Week 2 Day 1 of ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I'd also like to be doing some sort of sprinting program, but have no idea how to partner it with the Bridge to 10K program in order to keep ample recovery time.

Any ideas?

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

21 mins straight...I can only imagine what my legs will feel like. >.< I remember the 21 minute run being surprisingly easy, but if your legs hurt outside of running it may be worth your time to invest in a sports recovery drink/supplement. I know I benefited hugely from them and would recommend th...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

If it's only a drizzle go running, if it's relly rainign hard wait a while for it to get sunny again, if it keeps raining i'd go tomorrow instead. Better safe than sorry :) Or is it warm where you live atm? Cause then i'd go anyway :p It was raining pretty hard, with lightning and thunder to boot, ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I started the Bridge to 10k program today. It was tough but not mind-breakingly so, and (excuse the bragging) I felt like a champion by the end of it. I'm also doing pushups and situps every day, although I can only manage a few so far. I wonder how many other people are continuing to the 10k progr...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Someone on Reddit posted the 5k to 10k bridge, now with times including warm-up and cool-down. http://imgur.com/qNJIy For this I can forgive you for lurking Reddit :) Starting this next week as well as 100 pushup challenge, with the initial test being tonight. On top of this, MMA classes 3x a week....

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Just curious to know whether anyone else has moved onto other running workouts such as BOHR since the initial plan?

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

After weeks of lurking I have signed up to say I have completed Emi25K today and feel much better for it. I even woke up at 6 every morning to do it (which has the added benefit of keeping my sleeping cycle in check). I am lucky enough to have not suffered any injuries although on some days I could ...
