Re: Yet Another One-shot Repository (New Entry 4/12/18)

Oh, Misha. Runner-up for Saddest Girl. Cue her wailing and sobbing about how she can't manage even that and downing a can of whipped cream like it's a forty.

Seriously though it's been cool seeing your style progress. This one and 'Sharks and Minnows' are my personal favorites.

What in the world was the 'Texas' meme even about? I remember it popping up a few times.

Thumbs up, buddy. Unless you're greek, then it's some other positive gesture.

Re: Anyone feeling nostalgic?

Stumbled into a Let's Play of Hanako's route with a link to the site, and holy crap it turns out that not only did it not slide into an archive somewhere, my login still works. I'm feeling regret mostly. A lot of my posts were unhelpful pretentious cringe, and I was posting incessantly for like four...

Re: What of Rin's parents?

Rin's mom being wacko and Rin's dad being the stoic one seem to be popular ideas on the shimmie. No reason why they couldn't both be 'sperger's-type mathematicians and wound up with an artsy child that confuses them both. http://shimmie.katawa-shoujo.com/image/1954.png http://shimmie.katawa-shoujo.c...

Re: Body proportions

Even if you only count his senior class, that's still somewhere around 35-43 girls, which is then only about 12-15%, which isn't a terribly high number either. As far as canon goes, Hisao probably isn't quite the 'Master of Romance' the fans envisioned. TL:DR Hisao is oversold in terms of being att...

Re: Body proportions

People being generically attractive in fiction is just one of those things that I accept in order to make the whole thing work, like galaxy-spanning societies not having social problems due to relativity, or all of these women being attracted to Hisao.

Suspension of disbelief.

Re: Did Akira even get a degree for that corporate job?

Besides, Hanako would probably want children and rebuild the family she never had since her parent's death and all that jazz, but once she is fully mentally, emotionally, and economical stable Happiest ending: Hanako marrying into a bunch of money and setting up an orphanage. Cosmic Irony ending: H...

Re: KS like books

If you don't mind overly flowery language, Jane Austen's stuff ( Pride and Prejudice, Emma is surprisingly entertaining. The complications aren't like what KS or most VNs offer, but her characters are genuine people. It's a bit of a reach, yeah, it's just what I'm reading right now. If you're lookin...

1. Get posting in Hanako's Broken Heart Club. We're a sympathetic bunch, here. 2. Go play Katawa Crash over in the Fan Creations forum. That'll get you laughing. 3. Make some fanfic and/or fanart, even if it's just something small, if you need to. 4. Head over to openculture.com and try to learn som...

Re: Did Akira even get a degree for that corporate job?

Projecting to their later life... Shizune would have her 2 kids with Hisao and then make him get a vasectomy. "[With two children, you break even in terms of the human population. It's the most efficient way!]" Rin would only have one child, after Hisao breaks a condom and it would be a ve...
