Re: What if Iwanako transferred to Yamaku?

If I've found the right fanfic then it's not exactly what I'm trying to get at here.

If I'm right, that one involve her having arrhythmia.

Misha is at Yamaku despite having no disability, so I'm assuming other people can if they had a valid reason to transfer there.

Re: Feelings after the game that I find difficult to deal wi

In my case the problem would be that...I don't know if I can. :? You do not know if you can change your fate? Have you tried changing it? It should be within human curiosity to want to try new things. If you spend your whole life worrying about ifs and maybes then you'll miss out on a whole life of...

What if Iwanako transferred to Yamaku?

Title is fairly self explanatory. This isn't a feeble attempt to get people to start writing "Iwanako goes to Yamaku" fanfics, just something to stimulate discussion into how her arrival would affect the main cast and Hisao. How would the timing of her visit affect the effect she would hav...

Re: Feelings after the game that I find difficult to deal wi

But, inside I just WANT, really WANT to find this someone. It's like like my inner me wants a confirmation this is going to happen eventually. Who do you want to give you this confirmation? Some strangers over the internet? If it means anything to you, I'll vouch that you'll find love. It means not...

Re: Feelings after the game that I find difficult to deal wi

Don't go looking for love. You'll be so busy looking for Mrs. Perfect (change name prefixes according to sexuality and gender) that when you meet her, you might not be her Mr. Perfect. You could spend a whole lifetime looking for her but then how do you tell her when you meet her that you've just be...

Re: That Guy's Epilogue Emporium!

A thoroughly enjoyable fic. I thought it got a bit much at the end with all the extra characters and the incredibly long time-jump but was a heartwarming/breaking piece of writing. Personally, I would have ended it at the wedding. Thoughts on the afterlife do not make for good reading. What is the p...

Re: Parents

I know most stories seem to have at least one parent missing, dead or dying but I just felt like we should have been exploring more about the girls specifically, instead of the problems in their life caused by other people. I'm not saying that those issues should be completely glossed over but the ...

Re: Parents

It's not sad, it's true. It's very common for kids to have issues with their parents. Add on the fact that with the disabilities causing more issues with their relationship (Lilly and Shizune) and it's no wonder they have parental issues. P.S: Jigoro is an asshole. Also, it's not stated if Mayoi (S...

Parents

Why does it seem like a lot of the problems that (most of) the main 5 girls have are caused by a less than stellar past involving their parents? Just something I noticed while reminiscing about all the routes. 4 of the 5 of the main cast seem to have issues directly relating to their parents ( or la...

Re: Misha Route Collection

All too often I've been reading something in the fan fiction section and ended up reading something incomplete, something that does not pique my interest (despite starting to read it) or just does not appeal to my tastes. For example, I personally prefer not to read one-shots but I've read nearly 5 ...

Re: Sisterhood (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)

I can't speak for American English but I'd never use transpiration to mean sweating in humans due to perspiration being more specific in what it refers to (sweating in mammals as opposed to the general movement of water through the skin and outside of a body). The Wikipedia article for Perspiration ...

Re: Sisterhood (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)

Really nice fic. Still haven't quite finished it but I look forward to doing so. :D Noticed a few possible typos: Ch. 7: distributing it along the rest of the student body Should that be ' among ' ? Ch. 9: cigarette smoke and transpiration While not completely wrong, I've only ever seen transpiratio...

Re: The best written route?

All the routes are well written and I imagine that during production of the game, they all underwent intense scrutiny by developers, editors and the other route writers. I don't think the hate for certain routes like Shizune's springs from bad writing, just that people did not necessarily like the w...

Re: Yamaku student body, architecture, etc.

This does imply "prestigious" to me. What about Hanako? If she doesn't turn up to all the lessons and frequently walks out of class, she'd be at a severe disadvantage in terms of any academic scholarships. Assuming her being there is the governments doing (what with having no legal guardi...

Re: Yamaku student body, architecture, etc.

From what I can gather: Class 3-2 is the blind/partially-sighted class that Lilly and Kenji are in. Class 3-3 has Hisao, Shizune, Misha, Hanako and all the minor characters like Miki. Class 3-4 has Emi and Rin. Is there a class 3-1? Is it mentioned anywhere in the story? There is, but I don't think...
