It's pretty good, given its huge popularity you may as well give it a try. Kind of like Muv-Luv Alternative meets Sword Art Online.mateh1 wrote:hmm.. there's an anime that's just aired recently, and my friends said that it's amazing..
I believe it's called Shingeki no Kyojin.. is it any good?

Re: Recommend a VN
I promise it's real this time! Some of the animes have even begun airing. You've probably already realised by now, but that's definitely a troll chart. Here is the real chart if you're curious . Only VN adaption on there is Dangan Ronpa, although I guess the magical girl Ilya thing counts by ...

Re: Recommend a VN
From what I've gathered so far, it's actually a pretty easy language once you get the hang of it, the main difficulty being learning the kanji. Not necessarily, I've been (attempting) to learn Japanese since last year sometime, and the Kanji is incredibly easy for me. I find that the hard part is t...

Re: 2012 /v/GAs
I'm disappointed Frog Fractions didn't win any awards. That game was great.
Not surprising KS won the worst gameplay though. Debatable whether it is a game or not, but you're basically just clicking on a screen. Or not even doing that if you have auto mode on, except at choices.

Re: VNs with "true endings"
Another good VN that has a true ending is Muv Luv but I haven't actually finished that one so I can't comment on it much. Wouldn't say that Muv-Luv has a true route, unless you include Alternative like Flutterz does, but then that felt more like a direct continuation than anything. That's something...

Re: Recommend a VN
I remember reading Ixrec mentioning how great SiglusEngine was compared to rUGP when he saw that you could import sprites from other Key games to Rewrite if you wanted to. All it required was to change the name of it. But back to rUGP, he said he hated how it "intentionally breaks everything&q...

Re: Recommend a VN
Is there a reason why Kimi ga Nozomu Eien remains untranslated? I recently watched the anime adaptation and now I'd quite honestly kill to be able to compare it to the original VN. I've never quite understood this myself since it came out around 2000-2001 and was the thing that made âge famous. It'...

Re: Recommend a VN
As far as I know Retsupurae has no prior experience with visual novels, so they're just trashing it for the Let's Player's commentary... that, and his decision to record and commentate over a visual novel (more specifically, an H-scene) in the first place. But that VN is essentially a sequel to one...

Re: Recommend a VN
I can't help but wonder if Age made the two games separate primarily to not have Muv-Luv drag Alternative down, because I'm almost 100% certain that if the 2 were a single game, it wouldn't be the top rated game on VNDB. Maybe I'm just overthinking. It was originally meant to be part of Muv-Luv but...

Re: Who's your favorite and least favorite character?
Okay, as I progress through Rin's route, I am getting more and more annoyed of her. I'm not going to make any final judgements until I finish it, but It's really infuriating me the way she's treating Hisao. I almost want to say that I hate her, but I really don't. And again, I don't know the full s...

Re: Need Advice from Post KS feels
Hmm, trying to remember a VN without romantic relationships being a major plot point is surprisingly difficult. You know what, I'm going to just start typing VN titles until I hit something without a sexual or romantic scene in it VNs without romance as a major plot point: True Remembrance, Narciss...

Re: Need Advice from Post KS feels
I didn't see anything in the VN topic that I hadn't already played, and I still feel like KS is better than all of them. Seeing relationships done realistically while avoiding all of the common terrible VN traps is difficult to top. I'm curious as to how many VNs you have played, because there are ...

Re: 100 % --> One picture in Gallery missing
I think it's meant to be like that. Those items that pop-up in the middle of the screen all have their own space in the CG gallery, and I think it tells you at the end of them if you're missing any.
Besides you got 100%

RIN IS ACTUALLY NOMIYA IN DISGUISE.
That's what added to the hilarity. Well for me anyway.KeiichiO wrote: Rin is pretty funny. I'm not sure if she means to be though.

Re: Who's your favorite and least favorite character?
Favourite character would be Rin. Only real character I could relate to and really liked her indifference to most things. Plus she was hilarious in Act 1.
Least favourite would be Hanako. She was too boring a character for my liking and her shyness and timidness was kind of annoying.
