I don't think they'll stay in touch in a traditional way, but I think every once in a great while, Hisao will answer his door only to find Kenji standing there needing a place to stay, or help with something, or just wants a place to hang out. ...Or better yet, Hisao will randomly find Kenji hangin...

I still have a bunch on my to-do list concerning KS and can see them keeping me occupied for a while. After that I'll put KS on hold, most likely returning to reread Hanako, Rin and Emi arcs next year.
