Re: Tips on dealing with Katawa Soujo depression .
There are few feelings as awful as realizing that there is something wrong with one's life, but not knowing how to act on it. I guess that's why these things keep popping up on here. The only way to fix things is to fix yourself. There will never be enough fictional characters to fill the gap inside...

Re: Map of the novel
Aura hinted that they had made a map of the school grounds (not Brown University), but hasn't revealed it. Most likely, one will not appear unless the fans get to work.

Wasn't there a mention of Lilly going to a religious school for a while before going to Yamaku? It might have been a boarding school, as well. If not, I imagine that Lilly's early adolescence was very lonely and isolated, with Akira only being able to hang out with her a couple times a week.

'Hate' is a strong word. but I don't find Kenji as funny as people make him out to be.
Jigoro's quotes out-of-context are hilarious. Experiencing Jigoro in-game makes me more sad than upset.

Katawa Crash makes for a nice epilogue to the whole game. You go from "aw, it's over" to "Pffffwahahahaha!" in record time.

Re: Motivation
Motivation is a tough one for me. I didn't really learn it as a kid and have had to begin teaching myself as an adult. Novelty is a big one with me. If I'm learning something new I can feel a bit better about myself, even if I'm not making any real progress. This can backfire on me when the internet...

Re: Who Else Is Waiting...
In the spirit of KS's origin story, we should make the KS anime ourselves, each of us taking on 15 seconds of animation and sound and then splicing them together.
It worked for the Star Wars fanbase.

Just think of it as popping in your favorite rom-com and fast-forwarding to the best parts. Rom-com, really? That's what you went with as an example? Not that I really have anything against them -honestly, it's just a few giving the rest a bad name- but you could easily have just used the general '...

With strategic saving around act three of each route and using autoskip, you can get to nearly 100% in about an hour. Act 1 will be the most complicated to complete. Just think of it as popping in your favorite rom-com and fast-forwarding to the best parts.

They could have used a montage of the tower of Pisa rising up from the ground, a train entering a tunnel, fireworks exploding, etc.

I want the guy to be able to participate in the Olympics, heck, I've wondered why the Special Olympics have to be a whole separate event instead of having them included as though it were just another weight class or whatever. That said, it wouldn't make any sense to have a runner compete against, sa...

there is a pretty big discussion about him right now. People are saying he has an unfair advantage. The jury is still out on that, however, one thing is for sure. He says he's the fastest man on no legs. Emi called, she wants her title back. Unfair advantage? Fuck those people. They all have the un...

Re: Best possible date and worst possible date GO!
I'm replacing 'worst' with a 'meh' category involving dates that might seem good but might become mediocre, since a lot of the 'worst' dates are going to involve predictable stuff like disability restrictions or obvious personality mismatches. Emi - Great: Scavenger hunt. She'd need the right feet f...
