Yeah if you're not a fan of romance games then you're probably not going to like Katawa Shoujo, in the same way you probably wouldn't like Clannad or any other number of great VN games out there, I think it's less that the game is full of problems and more that you aren't really a fan of the genre. ...

I got Emi first, which all-in-all was fitting for me in real life probably, I didn't mind the choice though so far she's my least favorite of the three routes I've taken.

I had this thought as well, during my first playthrough I considered toggling the H-content to off because I was so engrossed in the story and felt that the adult content would ruin it, but having played through three routes so far I feel it would almost be a disservice to turn off the Adult content...
