I was actually thinking the same thing. But I still can't quite figure out what's going on. Or come up with anything that "could" be going on.

I was actually expecting Emi to be some typical loli kawaii desu crap, ended up being the opposite. Then I remembered I was playing KS. I came to a world of feels... and that yellow citrus fruit. Though no world of feels will ever match Rin's. (For me.)

Well you were with Shizune and Misha in the first place, so going with them doesn't necessarily mean you're getting close to them. Just go through the story, be sure to ask the neutral questions. Be sure to look for chapters called "Things to Do" and "Creative Pain".
