Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Pretty much what Glass said. Get help. You cannot protect her on your own.

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Words may not fully capture the experience, but I dare say it'll be able to capture most of it. That's the basis of what I'm saying. By not fully capturing it, you've cheapened it by leaving off some bits. It's a valiant struggle, but it's also an impossible goal. Guess we have to agree to disagree...

So much win in this statement.

It just reinforces my headcanon that she can take on several grandmasters simultaneously.
I do believe Bobby Fischer has a very aggressive play style, and not just on the board itself.

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Gotta disagree with the words part. After all, that's what Rin struggles with. The replays are for the reapplications of truth sledgehammers to your gut.

Words may not fully capture the experience, but I dare say it'll be able to capture most of it.

Well, for myself, even if I don't play all endings myself, I'll still read about them.

Re: Why does shizune hate lily?

To me, it's more of a pride/public perception issue. In her route, she did realise that she had pushed Lily away, but was too stubborn to admit it in public or to apologise to her.

Re: How good is Hanako at chess?

On the subject, I reckon that she hasn't been playing for a very long time. I cannot imagine who her chess opponents would have been during her orphanage years. And yes, I agree with the opinion that Hanako doesn't have that competitive streak.

Tell Emi that. She's the one who hates wheelchairs.

Re: Do I want to see the bad/neutral endings?

Agreed on the commentary part. If you can find a playthrough without commentary, it'll be better. (But, if that's the case, might as well play it yourself using the flowchart.)

Re: Random KS Discussion

We really do tend to forget that they are still teenagers, despite their disabilities, and some of those behaviour is typical of girls their age. Yeah, it's weird... the story seems so much "bigger" than teenage romance, doesn't it? If you wonder about them as adults, the story gets so bi...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

The harder you look to find the answer, the less likely you are to find it. KS, and the emotions it invokes for different people - it just is. No amount of analysis is going to give you the reason why. No harm trying. Here's my take: 1) The KS cast manages to cover many issues people encounter in r...
