Why haven't I read this until now? ...I'm not really good with long gushes of praise, so suffice it to say I eagerly await the next installment.

Haven't read Chapter 2 yet, I just wanted to say that I looked up Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, and it is terrifying...

Heh, we'll, I wanted to show my support, but didn't really have much else to say. I'll try and keep such things to a minimum.
