Re: Crafty's One-Shots (Apr 26th, 2020: The Slightest Nudge)
What a lovely story! The quotes from in game work wonders too to establish, 1) where are and 2) how these characters are circling one another. Of course, there’s a storm on the horizon for these two... but this is still an optimistic tale. The first section and second section are undoubtedly the str...

A Country Where the Thunder Goes Notes
This story was written in response to the YA server competition, where we are given pairings, locations, and modifiers to write a yarn. Below are my options for each, though I think really all the modifies apply in some way or another. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/525122520651661312/696571...

Re: Feurox's Den of Sadness [02/18/2020]
I am Disappeared I read this story 50 days ago. I even kept some notes to help me write my review of it. Unfortunately, those notes weren't particularly detailed, and some combination of the usual reticence and real-life stuff got in the way. But here I am, quite a bit later, finally trying to type...

Re: After the Dream—Rin's Arc/Miki's Arc (Complete)
It's funny, really. Most of my work lately has involved the idea of monuments and then their conclusions. The things I find fascinating are ruins, those things we often find on this forum itself, as Nuke misquotes above, 'art is never finished...' well, we know that to be true. In fact, that's proba...

Re: Raimen's Repository
It wasn't my intention to write Lilly like Lieutenant Commander Data. I wasn't intentionally avoiding contractions, but maybe it was a subconscious thing to make Lilly feel more distinct from Misha and Shizune. Again, it's something that I'll need to pay attention to when I re-read parts of the VN....

Re: NmO does Shorts [Updated 2019/12/02]
An Evening Run • A lovely little piece. There might be ‘ice on the ground’ but thoughts ‘melt’ away, very poetic and really heartfelt. At first, I thought this would be a story where Emi has passed before Hisao, I’m always looking for the twist. You got me with this one though, it’s rare to highlig...

Re: Once (From the Vault)
I'm... 11 years late to this particular party. TheHivemind commented on my SX for Crud, claiming that my story was a pretty good prequel to this one? Unless I'm mistaken, I think this is the story he was talking about, and I can see it regardless. It appears that a little bit of heart-ache appeals t...

Re: Raimen's Repository
A good story, and congratulations on winning the contest! Like your other story on the Renai, your Lilly is... off somehow. The analogies you used, or rather you had Lilly use, are good ones - but it's far too Virgilian for how real people talk. You seem to never use contractions in Lilly's speech e...

Away we Go Wassailing
Away We Go Wassailing Mutou sighed, and a spiral of his cold breath sailed away into the evening. He tapped his foot, tapped his watch, patted down his shirt. He coughed into his curled-up hand. Of course they were late. As if tonight wasn’t going to be long enough already. He sighed again. At leas...

Man, good to see you're still around! And amazing work, that looks so calm and tranquil! For what it's worth, a lot of old faces are on Discord now, we've got a Forum server for art and stuff, it'd be nice to see you there if you'd like to say hi to a lot of people. I can send you a link if you'd li...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (20200323 Objects in Space)
Yes, a wonderful piece. Not over the top tragic, just sadly real. I think a the beginning its a bit overdone, but it really does just feel like a Hisao who knows he could have been better, knows he can't go back, and in the end knows that's life. Sad, real, and overall a good read. Wonderful choice ...

Re: A Prank Gone Wrong - a Shower Scenes continuation (complete)
This story started out incredibly promising in my opinion. It continued to demonstrate your impressive writing style, and a mostly consistent narrative that kept me intrigued... usually. When I noticed you had finished, I was excited to read the conclusion to what I had considered a great story. Unf...
