Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Good food is a fine subject for a discussion, but it's also severely off topic. Edit: You shouldn't. Simultaneously some of the best and worst days of my life. Best because, well Japan and worst because I was a slightly weird kid accompanied by kids. Needless to say, I didn't have the greatest time....

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Just a little update guys. I feel like giving up on real life women. Not that there's anything else to be had elsewhere, just that I tire of always getting stepped on. 2D VN girls all the way now. ._. I'm healing at an okay pace, haven't been able to move around much. On the flip side, I'm thinking...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Has anyone finished EC210K yet? I started it just this evening - week 1 day 1. It went well and was only a strain in the last five minutes. I'll keep everyone updated on how that progresses. I think Babli is doing it presently, but he hasn't posted in a little while. I'm starting to think about doi...

Re: Myshina.

Why does this sort of thing always have to happen? Myshina is so nice.

I pray things get better soon.

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

I'm extremely tired, thanks to the pain seizures and stuff. It's not nice, I feel pretty horrible. But other than that, I'm feeling all right emotionally. After all, I can't even imagine the pain Melody went through in her final hours... I'm glad you're feeling better now, and not just physically. ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

When looking around online for a C25k chart with non-KS art, I came across this version: http://i3.lulzimg.com/22baf9f526.png For those that run, what do you think? This looks to be closer to what I'm actually able to do at the moment, in my attempts to do the Emi-version . I'm thinking that if I c...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

But what's the whole objective of couch to 5k? Is it to make sure I can do 5k without collapsing? Or is it to improve speed? It's designed for people who don't presently run at all. The objective is to be able to run 5 km in about 30 minutes, which would be double your current pace. Since you run a...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Walrusfella, you're not sure of a job until the contract is signed, and then there's even a testing period, so you're not even sure then. It's hard but that's how it is. They have the right to change their mind as much as you also do. I had to send out over 300 resumes to get only a few concrete jo...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

I'm feeling disappointed and frustrated today. I got a rejection call for a job that I really wanted and had convinced myself I had in the bag. Back to start; still stuck in my soul-eroding work situation. I feel conflicted about complaining about this. There are plenty of people who have no job at ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I'm back running again after a really bad injury. I missed this thread! Welcome back! Glad you're feeling better. Good to see you again. It was a grind but week 6 finished! Now just long runs every time... It feels so good finishing these runs after feeling like crap during most of them. Tonight I ...

I think I'll go with Yuuko. I'm a Hanabro 'till I die, but Yuuko has really cute hair and she kind of looks like an anime version of my wife. :)

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I don't. :p But I suppose the stuff my parents buy is good enough. I'll just subsist on string cheese and protein shakes. I hear all the girls dig scurvy. :) Tallying up the "Total Emi Inspired Tonnage Lost" is a neat idea. "Total Emi Inspired Man-Hours Run" is cool too, but it ...
