Re: Really really REALLY dumb questions
In regards to Shizune, I think the "fuck you" implication of the middle-finger has different connotations than "I want to fuck you."

I was more hoping along the lines of a token threesome.Guest wrote:Agreed. If Misha doesn't end up dying, I can certainly see it becoming a "two's company, three's a crowd" situation.

Re: Any possibility for a Misha path?
That's one of the better explanations I've heard so far. I didn't really pay any mind to the eraser thing earlier, but in context, it makes a lot of sense.
And, Vigilant, I think her volume control issues are more due to her personality.

Re: Questions
For future reference, the firework scene may be able to be worked-around if instead of using the animated sprites, there could perhaps be a "lower effects" option that replaces that scene, and presumably other animated scenes, with static images. Just a thought. (Though, this might be avai...

...also...what's her disability anyway? There's a lot of speculation on this, including brain cancer, mild autism, anemia, tourettes, being partially deaf, etc. The devs have said that we will "find out." To be perfectly honest, I really hope Misha doesn't end up killed off on the Shizune...

Also, Hisao's comment about Kenji's "freely swinging conductor's wand" or something of that nature.

Re: How'd you find yourself here?
I've known about this project since not long after the original thread, but really didn't know how far along everything was coming (or that there was a website, for that matter.) Once I caught wind of the Act I release, I jumped on it, hoping that it would meet my expectations. So far, it has exceed...

What're your computer's specs? VNs tend to take up very little system resources, but a few scenes here and there might cause hiccups. I haven't had any issues with framerate or hangups, but I've got quite a bit of memory.

Re: Katawa Shoujo Act 1 Preview feedback thread
I noticed a potential error in "Lunch Evolution Theory", specifically after choosing to speak with Hanako. After Hisao asks to join Lilly and Hanako, this line is read, "I know I'm kinda pushing it, but... Lilly hmms quietly, still smiling." screenshot0004.png Is that meant to be...

Re: Any possibility for a Misha path?
I really like Misha, to be honest. I can understand not putting a dedicated path to her (and the work it would entail), but I really hope she doesn't end up getting pushed to the side (or worse...) as the story progresses. Poor Micchan.

Re: Katawa Shoujo 2?
VNs require a great amount of planning, and Katawa Shoujo is a huge undertaking. To be honest, KS Act I is fresh enough to keep me satiated for a good while, at least until I get cravings for more game progress. Considering that Four Leaf Studios is (relatively) small and non-commercial, the idea of...

Re: Favorite girl.
I'm not going to mention Misha with the others because she doesn't have her own path(at least in the demo) so she is not my least favorite really. I feel she just kind of goes with Shizune although I do hope later we can chose to learn Sign so we can ditch Misha. I don't understand what's with all ...

Re: Disabled Developers / Players?
My mother has been working as an LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) at a rehab centre in a nearby town. From a very early age, I was exposed to a wide range of people who had acquired disabilities, particularly in brain injury. Though this early exposition, I suppose I've become a great deal more tole...
