I can't promise a schedule, but rest assured, I'm going to finish this story. Hooray! Well, I've said it before, but it bears repeating: I'll be along for the ride, no matter how long it takes. Please don't give up on it! This is an excellent story, one well worth telling IMO. It would be a shame to lose it.

Argh! I feel like there's a part 2 to this, where Saki and Hisao hash things out. The story seems less like a post-bad end coda than it does a "well that sucked, but neither of us want things to end like that, so . . ." sort of thing.

Or maybe I'm just an incurable optimist, heh.

Aw, that makes me sad. Well, we got the drabbles and a good run on the rest, so I can't complain; if you're not feeling it you're just not feeling it. I don't think you'll have to worry about lack of interest if you ever get around to finishing it, though!

This is amazingly good stuff. Misha seems spot on, and I didn't have any issues with Rin at all (that was a cold thing to say, but I doubt Rin meant it like that). And your Shizune . . . she seems a bit softer than the Shizune in the game, which is a good thing IMO. I could never connect with canon!...

Forgot most obvious choice:

[X] Get Hisao and go after Kenji together.

Deals with all the issues at once I think.

But anyway another great chapter! Hope Suzu tackles the bear that is career survey soon.

Miya's reaction to that might be, depending on context, anticlimactic. I'd be interested what sort of resolution on Hisao's part could bring forth such a line. He'd have to know what he wants. Actually, in some extended sense this might be the theme of part 4. Not sure if I interpret the line right...

I think it'd be neat if, at some point, Hisao threw Miya a curveball and said something like "I'd like to try not pretending." I wonder if she'd even know what to do at that point.
