Re: Moments in Time [One Shots]
Good to see you took my advice! This board can always use some more fun little stories like this. Nicely done .

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Meeting Update: Aug/Sep—Hanako)
Still, what you describe here is, as I said, perfectly valid and perfectly reasonable, but to some degree it requires you to first accept the premise that Hanako is suffering from clinical depression, which IMO she is not. By specifically naming clinical depression you might have put more thought i...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Meeting Update: Aug/Sep—Hanako)
Hanako simply being unable to emerge from her self-constructed prison wasn't the message I tried to convey. "Emerging" isn't the word I would have personally used in combination with Hanako to begin with because the word emerging suggests a sudden radical and permanent change, rather than...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Meeting Update: Aug/Sep—Hanako)
Fair points, but I feel like bitter anger is a very short term emotion, and that it's not exactly sustainable for the long haul. One of the reasons Trivun's Hanako struck me as odd was that she acted as though her friend's abandonment happened very recently. In my experience, that kind of resentmen...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Meeting Update: Aug/Sep—Hanako)
Actually, I'm inclined to disagree. I always held Trivun's Hanako as far too bitter. Like, MTtB-Class Bitter, and I felt like it really didn't mesh with what we know from canon. It was an interesting alternate character interpretation, but I honestly think of it as just that; alternate . Sisterhood...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Meeting Update: Aug/Sep—Hanako)
Ugh. Sisterhood . *pinches bridge of nose* What do I even say about this thing that I haven't already said either on its thread (especially here ) or scattered here and about within the Developments thread, or hasn't already been said here ? Well, let's give it a go. I think a lot of my problems wit...

Re: Alt Dreams [One-Shots] (36—'Cabin Fever') (20150821)
Heh...I am honestly not sure what to make of that :). I'm grasping a few pieces around the edges, but perhaps a good night's sleep will help me to delve more deeply. If nothing else, I appreciate the shout-out . Now, back into hibernation for a bit longer...just need to kick this bear out of t...

Re: Suffering from Withdrawl
While I root through the fanworks forum for more to satisfy my fix, I want to know what other people did to fill their own need for more, if anyone else has any recommendations. Well, if you're so inclined, you could always do what I did and try your own hand at fan fiction. I'd never written much ...

Re: Random KS Discussion
Sooooooooo~ , uhhhhh, does anyone else kinda miss the days where the forums were super active? I don't remember those days, since I'm relatively new, but I've seen a lot of new writers sprout in the fanfic area. They don't often cross over to the discussion area, though — I suspect most of them are...

Re: Butterflies and Ice Cream
Hm. This isn't bad so far. Rin's thoughts seem a little too on-the-nose at times, but otherwise this is one of the better representations of her that I've seen to date. I especially like the idea that she enjoys the aquarium -- that very much aligns with my headcanon for her. Will keep an eye on Ta...

Developments - Acknowledgements and other thoughts
It's finally complete. Developments , two years, 60 chapters, five interludes, one epilogue, and hundreds upon hundreds of fun, insightful, and always greatly appreciated comments from its beginnings, is complete. My little story has grown in leaps and bounds far beyond anything I ever dreamed two s...

Developments, Epilogue
Oh, dear, the library reopens today, so the floodgates are about to open again. Yukina's picking me up in ten minutes and I'm not dressed. I want to wear something different . Oh, if only I had different. Everything here is winter , and this is still summer, technically, although summer break is ove...

Re: The Library Anniversarie Collection
Idea: what about creating an account for the Library itself (unless that was what was meant by "a new user"), assigning the Library posts to that user, and then sharing that account among the library administrators? I'm normally against shared accounts, but AFAIK it's the only technical w...

Re: The Library Anniversarie Collection
I think one thing that could stand some clarification is the "Status" bit. Right now, we've only got "complete" (obvious), "ongoing", and "abandoned", and no indication of what differentiates the last two. Is "abandoned" only the stories where the au...
