Re: that feel when you cry after Hanako's route
In fact, I think it's exact. No matter what happens, Hisao will not matter to Hanako. That's what turns me off of her I suppose. If you play Lilly's arc first ( I didn't), you can notice that Hanako achieves great things without the presence of Hisao to protect her. Since Lilly is gone for two week...

Is Hisao's Presence Useless in Hanako's Route?
After finishing both Hanako and Lilly route (Emi too).. Most of you guys would know that in Hanako route, it ends at an earlier timeline of the game. while Lilly proceed to further down the future timeline. In Lilly route, i feel happy that Hanako can stand with her own feet without Hisao. Makes me ...

Re: that feel when you cry after Hanako's route
I agree... Though this also made me feel fairly bad playing Lilly's route as I was worrying about Hanako the entire time... (anyone did this too?) Fortunately... the writers took care of Hanako in Lilly's route too... what a wonderful relief... me too. In Lilly route, i feel happy for Hanako of her...

Re: Could Katawa Shoujo ever be an anime?
There's no way you could do any of the five storylines justice in only four or five episodes. Not that you could even with more - there's just too much internal monologue going on that's really important to the story... I'm just expecting something like Touhou fan-made ova. No need voice-acting but...

Re: Five behaviours expected from the player
It's not about Hisao, it's about you. How the game wants you to act in order to give you the good ending. Hmm. i think i misread it in ur post before u edit. Unless i'm wrong again, what i think is that certain traits are more favored by different girls. when i related to real life, i know some gir...

Re: What's up with all the hate?
I back up Benkei's post on this one. I'm Japanese and a friend referred me to this game. I checked out the Japanese website and comments on the site. People were mainly offended at the name. "Katawa" is one of those words you shouldn't be using and is banned in Japan from it being used on...

Re: I can't play this "game" anymore.
The more i play this game, the more i think i having split memories. It is like doing some kind of time travel. Where i reset and back to the starting point. Feeling down with Hanako when Lily is away to Scotland, together with the Déjà vu feeling that it is getting good with Hanako, when Lily is aw...

Re: Lilly's Route
After finished, i cant help but think why does Hisao need so much time to think of what he true feelings are? :? though, it is of course a way to heighten the emotional scenes for the writers. but i feel Hisao should have more than enough time to think and starts to act/ talk face-to-face before Lil...

I'm quite curious about this.yukinara wrote: - Play in 3D. I tried converting this to 3D and the result is nothing sort of amazing, especially the scene where Lilly hugged Hisao and confessed her love on the field.

Re: Five behaviours expected from the player
I dont think Hisao differs due to the writer's personality. Actually is more like Hisao changed ; to be suitable for the girl he love. Not to mention, in real life examples, most of the time we will get influenced by our peers. Ended up, we use their 'language', type of jokes and even way of conduct...

Re: How do you write Lilly's name in Japanese?
However, I'm not very sure you can do that with Japanese, as swapping symbols seems improper. Also, I assume the above combination is improper, impolite or wrong form. So, what I would like to know is, how do you write her name in Japanese? Is it 砂藤リリー? Or can you write it 佐 リリー? If it is 砂藤リリー, I ...

Re: How do you write Lilly's name in Japanese?
I just can't understand why it's リリー instead of リーリ. Makes more sense to me to drag the first "i"'s sound. Hmm then it will be LeeLi somewhere along that pronunciation. It all depends how the author has in mind regarding how the name wants to be pronounced, hence the translated Japanese w...
