Songs that make you think of KS

Lately, it happened often when listening to a song that it makes me think of Katawa Shoujo. For example, this morning I was listening to On Va S'aimer Encore (We Will Still Love Each Other), and I thought that could be something Hisao would sing to any of the girl, especially Emi. It happened with a...

Re: Questions about Yamaku

Question 1: How do you think a school like Yamaku would work? (Other than what we've been shown.) Would you change some things about the school? Like it is right now, it wouldn't work. As stated above, a deaf/mute student in a normal class wouldn't work, for example. It could exist if there was spec...

Re: Bad Vs Neutral Endings (Spoilers, obviously!)

This is because in both of the bad endings, they depart in anger, and anger is a short emotion, that vanish fast and easilly. I think that if the stories continued after those events, Hisao could have tried to apologize. Even if the girls were to stay angry for a long time, angriness is the emotion...

Re: Bad Vs Neutral Endings (Spoilers, obviously!)

I said that neutrals are worse. This is because in both of the bad endings, they depart in anger, and anger is a short emotion, that vanish fast and easilly. I think that if the stories continued after those events, Hisao could have tried to apologize. Even if the girls were to stay angry for a long...

Re: KS Academic Conference Paper - Seeking Help

1. Which girl's thread affected you the most emotionally? Why did it do this? Rin. It affected me a lot because she is like me. I often have difficulty to make others understand me. I have Asperger Syndrome (which is, if you don't know, a light form of Autism), and that cause me to have trouble unde...

Re: What else made you cry?

Oh, and I cried rage tears at the clusterfuck that is Evangelion. Does that count? Hey, that's also one way to let your emotions flow out. Disney/ Pixar's "UP" Enough said. I watched it... I'm not that easy on tears. Same for Wall-E. Cutting onions. Damn them all. Not for me! My contact l...

Re: What else made you cry?

Just to clarify... When I'm talking about crying, I don't mean breaking the floods and crying until you are out of breath ; just some tears running down your cheeks. All of what I mentioned here is only that, a few tears. I don't think I cried full force since I was 10. Also, I remembered another th...

What else made you cry?

There are a lot of topics about how emotional Katawa Shoujo is and all, and that picked my curiosity. I don't cry often, but I like the game, movies and cie. that can make me cry. So I was wondering, for those who cried because of Katawa Shoujo like me, what else made you cry? I don't want to know a...

No, he was just citting a passage from Katawa Shoujo :
Emi : "Anal"
Outside, the wind dies off. The birds stop chirping. Somewhere, a man freeze, his cup at his lips.

Re: Did you cry while playing KS?

Rin's was practically an emotional landmine - especially the "bad" endings (is there more than one? I only hit the one where Hisao yells at her in her atelier for the shitty way she treated him, before storming off and never seeing her again ). Just so you know, that was Rin's bad ending....

Re: Other disabilities games, movies, books?

By staying in the world of visual novels, I have 2 for you : Brass Restoration. Looks like Katawa Shoujo in the point of the game (you are a teenage boy who tries to find love at school), but in this game only the protagonist is disabled (he lost his left arm). Saya no Uta. This one is pretty violen...

Re: Did you cry while playing KS?

I did cry.

I cried on Rin's normal ending, which was the first ending I got.

I cried on Lily's good ending, twice. When Hisao "dies" in the airport and when he is alone in the hospital.

Re: Discussion - Emi Route (*Spoilers* Warning)

I think you got it wrong... I think that Emi and her dad were in the same accident, probably her dad was driving, and that both of them didn't die from the accident. Emi got out with only losing her legs, while her father suffered grievous wounds and died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
