Re: If you were enrolled in Yamaku High School...

Being truthful to myself, I'd say nobody. Simply because I was paranoid and ultra shy growing up. I could count the number of people I was friends with on a single hand for all of primary to high school.

Re: Recommend a VN

Anyone play Aoi Shiro? I understand that it has 56 different endings, most bad, but I'm curious what people thought of it before I get around to playing it.

Re: Is this bad?

1. depends. Since I don't know you I can't assume such a thing based on a single sentence. 2. Depends. For some it allows them to work through their emotions, for others they wallow in them. 3. No. Infact, I think it could be healthy. As there is a possibility you no longer see them as broken or pit...

Re: The KS Community's Tips on Getting Rid Of Feels

14 year old guy here, I have no problem with the fact that I sob like a child when it comes to this stuff. Then again, puberty and all that emotion crap . And generally kids/teens tend to be more scathing and judging of this kind of behavior than adults in your case. Great advice sir, your wisdom i...

Re: Music that makes you think of KS

Don't watch if you plan to watch the K-On anime, cause it's a big spoiler, and the series is great.

Haven't really figured out why it did yet, but it did.

Re: The KS Community's Tips on Getting Rid Of Feels

Personally, being the introvert that I am, I decided to not "get rid of feels", but instead resolve them. I don't think anything could be more unhealthy than stowing away unprocessed emotions. It'll just leave you more emotionally numb and less compassionate/empathetic in the future. What ...

Re: A Memory Hisao has of Lilly

But moments like this do make me wonder if even the coldest, hardest atheists who have such situations foisted upon them might not even feel just a tinge of providence. Sure, it may not last long enough to make them even into a Deist. But I wonder if they ever get that feeling . YKWIM? Oh I dunno. ...

Re: A Memory Hisao has of Lilly

Why is this turning into a religious argument? Seriously? Are you all fighting over whether a fictional character, who wears a cross around her neck, and has a heritage that might be linked to Christianity, could be religious? Isn't it safe to assume from those details that it's possible? Regardles...

Re: A Memory Hisao has of Lilly

Daitengu, one of my experiences in Japan was when I asked a Japanese girl I had gotten to know in a guesthouse, when I saw her wearing a cross, what her religion was. She replied, "none, it's just a fashion accessory". In Japan, you'll find that most christians actually don't show their r...

Re: A Memory Hisao has of Lilly

Game wise I would just assume that Lily was put in a Catholic private school as a way to keep her out of the public eye, as it was the closest to her father's beliefs. Isn't it her Mother who is Scottish and thus implied to be the religious one? Forgive me, it has been a while since I've played. Yo...

Re: A Memory Hisao has of Lilly

According to the 2001 Scotland census 16% of people claim to be Roman Catholic. As for Japan itself 80-85% of people don't follow a particular religion, with only 15 to 50% of that 20% believing in a God. From there you split that in to actual religions and Christianity as a whole ends up being abou...

Re: A Memory Hisao has of Lilly

Lily does wear a cross. So it's not a far fetched idea. (Them things aren't fashion accessories)

I thought I remembered her having gone to a Catholic school before going to Yamaku. Been a while since I've played so...

Re: The Foreigner

Thanks for the suggestion! Although I left Nurse's reasons out, it wouldn't make much sense that he would tell him why he didn't send him to the hospital, at least it wouldn't in the conversation they had. But I did change it some and hopefully it helps a little. Well, and I doubt he would talk of ...
