Regarding prosthetics, going for the 'realistic" ones is probably gonna be your best bet. Why not either have the actress wair painted leggings of some kind, or otherwise do a sound effect bit where she knocks on her shins early on and a generic wooden/metal/whatever sound plays?

Yeah, this is the official site and the official torrent is safe to use. The only time you need to be careful is if you're off downloading them from random websites, just like you have to be careful with any download.
