Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
I don't have enough cords, and the PS3 is pretty mobile; I bring it all over the house.

Why would you even use the viewer, anyway? I've always had performance drop when using the viewer. PS3 is currently out of commission, due to my router dropping wireless. Buying this one instead: http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=n82e16833320023 Will be back soon. also: >gaming on wir...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
Haha, my W7 tower BSODs too, dunno why. Typically it takes a couple of days though, so it doesn't bother me. My laptop, on the other hand, is completely stable.

Re: Rin: thalidomide *and* crazy?
Normal people are those that do nothing with their lives but live, so that they may continue the human species. Eccentric people, every single person that's "not normal" is potentially the one that brings humanity forward as a group, because their mentality doesn't allow them to fade into ...

Re: Gratz on ver. 3
The sketchiness is pretty jarring in those winking/closed eye sprites, especially in close ups, but overall it's a decent sprite set.

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
I'm back. Running GPU 24/7 on my now-outdated tower at home, considering running the SMP as well, though I don't think it'll take that very well. Also occasionally running GPU and SMP on my G73jh, this laptop is a killer (Mobility 5870, Core i7 720m). I thought I'd fall in the standings a bit more, ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
Now there's an idea. Actually, I don't think they make 8800GTs anymore, do they? And yet I have a lifetime warranty...I should look into this.

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
Well, with further testing, I'm finding that my 8800GT, now BIOS modded, runs a lot hotter than it used to. On the other hand, the real 9800GT can overclock like nobody's business. Right now I'm seeing about 11.7k PPD, but as I said, I'm still messing with things. At least this will let me keep fold...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
Time to bring the pain. I'm still messing with settings, but preliminary results suggest that... I'll be doing ~12.5k PPD. I modded my 8800GT into a 9800GT and bought a 9800GT off a friend for 20 USD. I'll probably be downclocking my 8800GT a bit and trying to find a sweet spot for stability, but I ...

Re: Learning Japanese.... Who is into it?
If you guys want practice reading something in Japanese, I do believe that Yotsubato is a good early choice. I've learned the kana and done a little bit of reading over the past few years, but most of what I know is absorbed from random tidbits of Japanese media, animated or otherwise. I'd like to p...
