Re: Would this be a better game if there was less of it?

I feel this would probably have been an amazing experience if they took more time producing it, and put in the effort to edit out about 90% of the content. A good book is not one where you have nothing more to add, but one where you have nothing more to edit out. Somebody's been studying modern lit...

Re: Would this be a better game if there was less of it?

Personally I've only ran through the game fully once, and it took me just over 5 hours. When sharing the game with my girlfriend, I was reading all of the text out loud to her as she enjoys listening more than reading. I started noticing that, you're right, sometimes it does kind of drag on a bit. H...

Re: IRL Significant Others

Just saying it's a game with cripple girls is enough for a lot of people's brains to go south. This is the biggest hurdle here. to be honest I usually avoid even mentioning it has crippled girls unless they specifically ask. I just tell them it's a wonderful story that's really made me re-evaluate ...

Re: IRL Significant Others

 You people lack persuasive power. Since I'm a psychology major, I typed out a 6 page essay in a letter format to annoy/guilt trip my cousins into playing Katawa Shoujo. One is still being stubborn, but she'll give in. Hahaha, that's awesome! I'd be interested in reading this essay/lette...

IRL Significant Others

So the other night I had a few drinks and ended up telling a lot of people about how incredible this game is, including my girlfriend. Luckily I don't have judgmental friends as most of them aren't into anime/video games/reading etc., and they just played it off as drunken rambling. My girlfriend ho...

You know you play too much when you want to share it with every person you come into contact with, hoping they'll share in your feels.

EVERY. PERSON.

Re: Playing the game

As others have said, I'm actually happy there won't be voice acting in this game... it'd ruin the voices I have set for each character in my head! It allows me to create "voices" for them which, as I've said in practically every other post of mine, makes me feel an even deeper connection t...

Re: Bad Endings Before the Good?

I definitely see the benefit of playing making your own choices. That's what I did for Lilly's good path, and knowing that all of the choices were my own connected me to Hisao that much more. Using some sort of guide for the bad endings will ultimately make get the good endings by process of elimina...

Re: Bad Endings Before the Good?

well sometimes it doesnt help. like with Hanako's bad ending, even if u skip the text you can tell that something bad happened by looking at the pictures. if you really want to avoid getting bad feels, look at path charts and save at points that would lead to good/bad endings. Well that makes sense...

Re: Bad Endings Before the Good?

If I'm correct, Lilly doesn't have a bad ending. Just a neutral one, thank god. haha, thank god indeed. well if you dont want negative feels overtaking you when u get the bad ending, id suggest either screw 100% or get bad ends first. My completionist attitude won't let me screw the 100%, so yeah I...

Bad Endings Before the Good?

Now I know a lot of people will disagree with me here, but I've been having thoughts about how I'm going to go about getting my 100%. I've only completed Lilly's good path so far, and I realized that now it's going to kill me getting her neutral and especially bad ending because of how happy I was d...

Re: Who was your first arc?

I went for Lilly for my first (and so far only) playthrough. I managed to get the good ending which had me on the edge of tears a couple of times. It amazed me how much this game spoke to me personally, and how much of a connection I actually felt with Hisao. I'm trying to keep myself hidden from sp...

Re: Most Physically Attractive Girl

Lilly. Always liked the long hair and her "clouded" eyes really accentuate the blue color which to me, is stunning. Her personality is also a huge bonus as I've always been attracted to independent, proper, intelligent, and calm women. As mentioned before, she also has a great sex drive ;)

A Personally Necessary First Post

Hello all, I know it's all very old news to just about everyone else on this forum, but I just had to post to get these emotions I feel out after completing my first path. I've never really been one for these types of games. I enjoy a good story, but I usually prefer to read a book or play a game, n...
