Re: KS inspired project

1. Philip 2. Male 3. 18 4. A lot. I'm a computer science major. It's what I do. I'd guess anywhere from 3-10 hours/day. 5. I do when I'm in reading mode. 5a. I'll knock out around 3 300-800 page novels in a week when I'm in reading mode, which happens around 2-4 times a year. 6. I'll watch about any...

Re: Piano Sheet Music?

That's because scales are the building blocks of all music. Most every piece of music is based on some sort of scale, whether major, minor, whole-tone, or some other not-often-used mode. Learning the circle of fifths greatly improved my playing ability; knowing the patterns music will fall in makes ...

Re: Piano Sheet Music?

On the whole Ab minor topic, can't you completely ignore the key signature to play the song in A minor (with the exception of making naturals into sharps)? I'm not entirely sure and would like to know, because I might end up doing this at some point. There is a neat little trick you can do regardin...

Re: Piano Sheet Music?

I did my best to sequence "Happiness" by ear for myself (I still don't thin I got everything right...), and then transcribed it for organ.
I then attempted to practice it up well enough to play it.
But then the organ I had access to burned down...

Re: LILLYS ENDING MAN

Man I didn't get the good ending, and I think it was down to humouring Kenji rather than waving him off. I'm having difficulty getting the game to work again though, as there were no peers for the mac version, and I played through on the windows version through Darwine. Now it's not playing ball. R...

Re: Soundtrack Discussion?

There is a good bit of difference between some of the tracks in the demo and in the full version. I managed to notice right away, especially Kenji and Rin's themes.

Personally, I prefer the older ones myself. However, the newer renditions are just as great as the originals, just different.

Re: The Hanako Thread - Spoilers, obviously

It was a masterpiece, a true work of art. The work of Four Leaf Studios can certainly rival that of professionally-developed works in earnest.

Many manly tears were shed... Certainly an emotional rollercoaster.

The last few hours are even worse.
True, the suspense does build up faster as you approach the time of any event... So maybe a few more hours could be that bad...

Too bad school resumes the day before... I suppose I know what I'll be doing come the weekend.

To those whom have labored the past several years: Good job, and thank you for not abandoning the project.

Re: Gaming Journalism

When I took up the Act I demo, I had absolutely no clue what in the world the game was about... I remember seeing a link posted somewhere within the depths of the Internet saying something along the lines of it being a good game... So I played through, and thought it to be rather well-done, especial...

Re: Your natural choice

I generally do my best to be honest when doing these sorts of things, to choose what choice most resembles what I would do if it were in real life. It is usually slightly painful to go against my conscience, even though I realize that it's just a game, and nothing will happen if I pick something tha...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Artbook at Comiket 81

Considering this project does not, by any means, generate any sort of profit whatsoever for those who partake in its development, I would be perfectly happy with whatever is produced. Do not press for more; get you anything, that it will not.

Re: The Blog Returns

I can certainly relate to this, albeit in a different skill, but I experience it all the same. I am a musician by trade. My primary instrument is the trumpet, and (if I may), am rather proficient. If you were to place any piece of sheet music in front of me (so long as it is not insanely difficult),...
