Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Hey guys, first post here. I've been doing the push up challenge for a few weeks now. I finished week 4 back on Friday, but I had some difficulty near the end and could barely lift myself for that last one, let alone continuing. I'm pretty sure I'm doing the push ups right and everything, I just do...

Salomon XADV52, if anybody cares
Going to an actual ski slope costs a far to much for me. I cross country ski sometimes but I use my grandfathers 60 year old cross country skis.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

There's this one question I've always wanted to ask. After I complete c25k, should I continue to run 30minutes, try to improve my speed; or continue onto the 10k program? What ever option you want other then stop. I just kept doing the same. Lots of others moved on to 10k. So does anyone have any t...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Could be shin splints. http://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/shin-splints
tl;dr version is take asprin or ibuprofen after a workout if its bad and ice your shins for awhile after running. Good luck on your goal Walrusfella but frankly you are practically there already so long as you keep at it.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Anyone else feel lung pain while running? Usually starts about halfway through the race and goes away after a couple of minutes but it's annoying. Only when I run in the cold. Sore is ok but pain is always a sign of something wrong. Is it cold or unsanitary where you run? Now that I'm done with the...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Very nice patch.

I don't really know so much why I run these days. I enjoy it but I think I do it because I want to keep healthy and feel like its an active way to try and keep on top of that. It feels good to think I am doing something that has a positive effect on myself.

Once you have everything together post it and I will add it the the first post list of stuff.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

@HelpingHans I am unaware of any damage to the immune system from running in the morning other than perhaps exposure from physical strain while in the cold of early morning but even that is not really anything most of the time. As for keep at it what kept me going is having made that decision to kee...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

@Kadadj Start it up. Running when I get up is the way I go, but it is far harder to get into a routine since it is easier to convince yourself to stay in bed. As for cold I would actually prefer if it would cool down. It helps with over heating that can happen running going during the day. If it get...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Stretch everyday, running or not, and you will find that your flexability improves over time. Not stretching for a few days in a row will also have noticeable degradation. Its something easy to build up and even faster to lose. So the slowing down of posts makes me think its time to see who is still...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

LARP, if you do mean Live Action Role Play, is not that much of a work out. What with foam, card board, and molded plastic being so light. Medieval Combat Society in full metal and leather armor can be heft work though. In iron full plate it can be pretty serious even due to the heat. Although Beleg...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Removed ingrown toenail today, so I shouldn't (which doesn't mean I absolutely won't, that'll depend if my foot hurts) in the next few days. Then, after moving, I'm gonna join a gym so I'll run/exercise everyday. Running may not work but you could still do a bike with open toed shoes so you don't m...

This thread can really get closed coz of being off topic? srsly? That'd be sad... If consistantly and blatantly yes. But it is a rather wide range topic so we are fairly safe as long as fights and flame wars don't break out Also! http://i.imgur.com/XN2Qi.jpg - Rin 100 push-ups chart with revisions ...
