Re: Who has the most PTSD?
I don't think most of Hanako's problems can be pinned to PTSD. Sure, the fire gave her the scars, but that in itself didn't lead to Hanako cutting herself off from other people. It was when people started rejecting her because of her scars, particularly the people who used to be her friends. That's ...

Re: Who has the most PTSD?
It stands for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Basically an irrational fear of something related to some kind of psychological trauma a person had in the past.
Like, if I got in a car accident and almost died, I might be afraid to get in a car again for a while.

Re: Growing Up - a Karen pseudo-route (11/2)
I'm curious as to what happened while Hisao was still at the pool last night, but I get the feeling that detail was left intentionally hanging as a sort of extended cliffhanger.

Re: Little Lamp
I, for one, like that it's someone else in the limelight instead of Hisao. Nothing against Hisao, but having a different character feature in a story is a nice change of pace. One thing I will say, however, is that the story could have been much livelier with more dialogue. As it is, you avoided hav...

That's subjective. The most emotional route for me was Rin's.

Re: Hype
I was one of the people who signed up for the forums during the peak of its popularity, made a few posts, then slunk away as my obsession with the work faded. And now I'm back because I started reading the fanfics. And also because I started seriously working on writing my own. I'd written the start...

Re: Growing Up - a Karen pseudo-route (10/31)
Oh my, alone with a girl in the gym after hours? Misha and Shizune would surely have a field day with this, if they found out. “I’m going to be riding you until I’m sure you’re being healthy. Every student here is under my care, even you. I don’t want any students dying on me for my first year , and...

Re: Which ending is most likely for you?
I did play her route to both endings, it just didn't hold my attention the way some of the other routes did.

Re: What scene made you "cry" the most
The only scene that got me to tear up at all that I can remember (crying doesn't come easily to me) had something to do with Misha on the rooftop in Shizune's route. My memory is really fuzzy about that, though. Might have to play that route again to remember just what happened.

Re: Which ending is most likely for you?
Given that I have a habit of walking for an hour or so in between or after classes, I probably would not need to be roped into doing morning runs with Emi to get my exercise. And I can't imagine really getting to know her outside of being the person who hangs out with Rin a lot. Rin could easily be ...

Re: Hanako's Story (UPDATED 28/09/2013)
Well, I'm kind of glad I didn't discover this sooner than I did. It was nice to just keep reading and not have to wait for another update to get to the end. Or one of the endings, in any case. When Hisao decides whether or not to invite Hanako down to the city, it doesn't seem to affect him as much ...

Re: Other Media that gave you "The Feels."
Narcissu, another VN I played a while back, made me pretty upset for a few days after I finished it. It helped that one of the characters died happy, even though they were committing suicide... if that makes any sense.
