Re: Misha?
I've taken care of children with severe autism and Misha is nowhere near that. People tend to use the word 'autistic' to refer to a broad range of maladies within PDD, usually incorrectly. The public mind is a difficult thing to change the course of, but that's neither here nor there.

Re: The girls and why you like/dislike them
I’m not going to rank the girls or split their personalities from their appearances, as both would be arbitrary and irrelevant. Rin: I identify with her in an odd way. She appears to have the same difficulties expressing her thoughts on the fly as I do. The way she pauses and waits for Hisao to prod...

Re: Favorite quotes
This is my favorite Rin quote: "There will be dire consequences if I don’t. The end of the world as we know it… Like weekends usually are, but more dire… Much more dire… Maybe I’ll postpone my nap to unforeseen future." Anyone else get the impression that Rin, when she says she's thinking ...

Re: Any possibility for a Misha path?
Hehe, point taken. Thank you, I'll stop worrying about it now. :) Back to the real thread topic, though. On a personal level, I'm kinda glad there won't be a Misha path as I am an obsessive completionist and it would be...awkward...for me, for reasons previously stated. I can understand the appeal, ...

Re: Any possibility for a Misha path?
Oh, I'm well aware of that, 4chan_Refuse, I just worded it poorly. I shiver at the thought because I can see what pain and self pity lies behind those lines. If anything I'd expect Misha to withdraw from Hisao and Shizune so as not to get in their way, causing further emotional damage to herself in ...

Re: Any possibility for a Misha path?
Her aim doesn't suck. She's surprisingly good at paper football, remember. She was just playing along with shizune in making Hisao choose between them. I doubt she's a complete ditz either, but it's hard to tell because she only shows her maturity in the occasional reaction to a situation and almost...

Re: Favorite girl.
erisi236, I think I agree with you. I also found Shizune's path somewhat grating until the end, but now that I think about it that has more to do with Hisao's indecisiveness and exaggerated reluctance even after he has agreed to join the Student Council. I enjoyed watching Shizune express her playfu...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Act 1 Preview feedback thread
That's because Kenji's glasses only fog up when there's danger nearby, so as to keep him from panicking. By the way, I would like to point out that Emi's possible height complex (or is it a jumping complex?) annoyed me a little at first because as a double BK amputee her height no longer need confor...

Re: Favorite girl.
Rin is my favorite. A lot of my reasons have already been stated by others, so I will be brief. She appears to be the most sexually aware (if not active as well) of the girls and the most at home in her own skin, which is alluring. I love the way all her innuendo and the attempt to get a rise of jea...

Re: How'd you find yourself here?
Cortana's rant on Megatokyo peaked my curiosity, so here I am.
I played the demo to 100% completion and lurked for a while. (I didn't know what VNs are or their trends and history until I started reading these boards.) Then I figured I aught to post my thoughts in the feedback thread and registered.

Re: Katawa Shoujo Act 1 Preview feedback thread
I had never even heard of VN's before coming here, but I have to say Katawa Shoujo has some of the most interesting-yet-believable characters of any story driven game I have played to date. Thank you for the wonderful experience this first act has been. I will be waiting with bated breath for the fu...
