Re: Tips for fanfiction writers (that means YOU)
I think it may have something to do with the fact that we get so little information on his relationship with them and what little information we do get it somewhat vague. I think Rin's route mentions that he was usually left home by himself but that's one of the few things I'm a hundred percent sure...

Re: Random KS Discussion
I personally think it didn't happen right on her birthday but near enough that people would be nicer to her around the time.

Re: Tips for fanfiction writers (that means YOU)
Also, something else to note is that if you are doing a short little one-shot, or side story that doesn't involve your fic's MC it's okay to switches from first to third person, or even switch the first person narrative over to a character who is involved with the story just as long as you specify t...

Re: Tips for fanfiction writers (that means YOU)
 *Jumps into car and drive at full speed to mexico* See ya! Anyway. Another tip I would give is perhaps write out a rough skeleton of the story, or perhaps even write out an entire act before you post the chapter. With the first one it gives you a clear idea of what you want to do and can kee...

He wasn't saying that were promoting one as superior. He was just responding to what you said about first person narratives.

Re: Tips for fanfiction writers (that means YOU)
Ah. Okay. I think I was reading the previous post wrong. I'm thinking about doing something like that with my current running fanfiction and since the OC is blind I think I could easily swing something like that. Thank you for the example btw.

Yes. The unreliable narration. I apologize I should have been clearer.

Re: Tips for fanfiction writers (that means YOU)
One thing I've noticed, particularly popular with people who haven't written much, is an over reliance on first person narrative for their works. I think as a general rule of thumb, while first person narrative is great for providing an intimate connection with a character, that also works against ...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club
Hmm... A difficult situation there. I don't think anyone in particular is to blame in that kind of thing. Well how about I bring up something more cheery, eh? I finally l mustered up the courage to tell my friend how I feel her and even though she didn't say much about she was smiling for the rest o...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Currently Reading: Katawa Shoujo Bloop
I felt like the bloopers were very well done. I laughed at most of them and even those I didn't at least got a grin out of me. Although I did kind of feel like it kind of over stretched itself a little bit because I found myself just kind of pushing through the last few. I would be up for the peer r...

Re: Tips for fanfiction writers (that means YOU)
Even I'm not all that good of a writer I do have one tip for others out there. When writing an episodic fic (meaning you upload a chapter at a time) once you have completed a chapter don't post it write the next chapter and then post it. Why do this you ask? Well for a couple reasons. One being that...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Currently Reading: Two Queens)
I think I must have zoned out while reading, or something because I honestly didn't remember Miki running into FemHisao until I saw you mention it. Yeah it did seem a bit out of character. And good point brythain. Why WAS she running that way? And to correct what I said in my earlier post: I get tha...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Currently Reading: Two Queens)
And brythain managed to cut down the incredibly long thoughts that I writing down in word very nicely. The only think I really have to add is that I found the incredibly brief prologue outside of the hospital to be kind of unnecessary. It was interesting to read through, but I don't think I'll be co...
