Re: Random KS Discussion
You know, I always have this thought that Hanako is someone that is very easily influenced. If she hadn't had that scar, she could potentially be one of the popular girls in a normal high school with her own groupie--might have awoken a more sinister side of her too... You know, one who bullies thos...

Re: The "feels" bazaar.
I wouldn't say pointless, but yeah...it is pretty pointless. Emi's bad end also doesn't leave much. On Emi's Good End... I believe there's two ways to get there the arsehole and non-arsehole routes . So, to Alpacalypse, go and explore both of those at the very least, if you haven't already. Emi's g...

Re: The "feels" bazaar.
Oh god, the puns  Either way, I actually know about Hanako's bad end and I'm interested in seeing some of the others. I'd just feel like an arsehole since the result would be from a decision that I'd made, probably made worse by the fact that I know what would happen as a direct result (I get...

I think he talks down with anyone who approaches Shizune.Charmant wrote:I imagine it's in his nature to talk down to everybody.
He's still over-bearing, but Akira and Misha doesn't seem to mind it--only Hisao complained about it, I think?

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
Misha wanted to be a translator if I remember correctly...
I have this going on that she's actually fluent in three-four language:
Japanese, JSL, Korean, Chinese, and a bit if Russian.
Surprising enough, English is still her weakest subject.

Re: Tips for fanfiction writers (that means YOU)
I'd have to agree that it is more of preference than ability to write in either third of first person narrative. Third person offers a broader perspective--like an observer, if you will--of the story that is unfolding. It's like reading a newspaper or so. First person on the other hand gives a more ...

Re: The "feels" bazaar.
I cannot bring myself to complete any of the bad endings. I would feel like an arsehole I highly recommend you to finish the 'bad' endings. It gives you another dimension of the characters in question and a broader perspective about then (Shizune and Rin's bad/neutral endings especially). Other tha...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
The dormitory I lived in before had a laundry room where they do their own laundry, which I assume in the KS-verse that is probably the same--that, and the 'partner' system that seems to be around in Yamaku meant those who can't do their laundry due to the lack of arms [e.g. Rin] can have their laun...

Re: Tips for fanfiction writers (that means YOU)
This is my own style, but if it can be of help why not give it a shot? (Most of the tips are already covered, and those are usually the basics/pre-advanced. What I consider to be 'advanced' most of the time is you developing your own writing style and utilizing it to the fullest) First off, READ. Ge...

Re: Please release Katawa Shoujo source code as free softwar
Then again...(since I am more or less ignorant on the source code or wtv)
Why would you need the source code to stop you from putting in on the wiki and advertise KS? It's been word-of-mouth for a long time and that's how we got this small, tight-knit fan group. So what does a wiki has to do with it?

Re: I wonder how many dreams Hisao inadvertently crushed
Rin had to push him to do anything too. She went to him and had him undress her, and he was still just going to dry her off until she grabbed him with her leg and pulled him in. Ah that's true... That part actually somewhat made me squeel. It's like her way to say 'HOW MANY MORE HINTS DO YOU NEED Y...

Re: The Haunting: A Love Story *UPDATED 02/26/2015*
Still too spooky for me. I don't know what it is... but I keep getting this skin crawling feeling when I read this. Your friend/girlfriend died, came back to you as a ghost one day then suddenly--without warning--tries to take you along for the trip. Yup, guess I got it right :D No worries, ACT IV ...

Re: I wonder how many dreams Hisao inadvertently crushed
I know this thread has been dead for ever but there is something I just gotta point out. In Emi's route, Hisao doesn't "make the move", she does. Same with 3/5 of the route, actually. Hisao seems like the a-typical donkan/thick head that takes a while for him to notice (unless he pulls it...

Re: The Haunting: A Love Story *UPDATED 02/26/2015*
My laptop didn't 'crash', it more or less imploded and started smoking^^; It was an old one, almost 5-6 years, so it's close to that time I should retire it. either Shizune really is a bad ghost and Misha is also being manipulated, or else shouldn't she be well aware of what has happened and that Sh...
