Re: So, is Hanako a Nerd?

Again, she probably doesn't have the money for the handheld. Or worse, the bullies snatched it from her and refused to give it back. We could always say that one of the orphanage caretakers bought her a used Gameboy for Christmas, or something. The fire took place around 1996 or 1997, so the Gamebo...

Re: So, is Hanako a Nerd?

I really doubt Hanako was a gamer simply because she never would have had the chance to develop that interest. One of the reasons why she liked reading was because people left her alone when she read. I believe that if the orphanage had any sort of game system, it would see some pretty heavy usage ...

Re: So, is Hanako a Nerd?

Her house fire and her parent's deaths was caused by arsonists, or burglars accidently set the house on fire. She then vows to protect Yamaku and Japan as its dark knight. But on topic, I already pictured her as something like that. In fact, there are fan arts of that. -pic- http://media.tumblr.com...

Re: The death of Misha... *MASSIVE SPOILERS*

I might consider Rin more of a suicide risk than Hanako. Didn't the Devs say Rin commits suicide after one her "bad" endings? I was actually thinking about this myself, though if I remember correctly that was actually just a popular rumor that Rin's author ended up debunking. If there was...

Re: The death of Misha... *MASSIVE SPOILERS*

I would be surprised if Hanako never struggled with any suicidal thoughts or feelings, and in the realm of suicidal ideation I think she would rank well above the other girls, but I don't think the chances that she will ultimately go through with the deed are much higher than they would be for any o...

Google. Seriously, it's not hard to find at all. Did you even try?
I've tried and haven't had much luck. The only links I find are to this 22 mb file called Grid1 Extraction, which seems to be just images and nothing else.

Re: Which girl do you think will age the best?

I don't think the average 80 year old of 2068-2069 can be equated with the average 80 year old of 2013. The medical world is going to change a lot in the next half century, to the point where I would imagine Yamaku Academy changing to a normal school by the 2070s because most disabilities can be cur...

Re: What will you do on your favorite character(s)'s birthda

The game takes place during 2007, and I think Hanako's the same age as Hisao (who's a year younger than Emi, which means he's 18). So 2007 - 18 is 1989.

Re: What will you do on your favorite character(s)'s birthda

On March 14, I'm planning to buy a piece of strawberry cake and probably going to be rubbing it all around on my monitor screen attempting to feed it to Emi. that's pretty adorable On July 10th, I'm going to... I dunno, Hanako isn't exactly crazy about her birthday... maybe I'll just briefly gloss ...

Re: "Hustle and Bustle" - Hisao

lolwtf @ Xan's new avatar :( at Oddball's not-new avatar. I hope that guy's scars are healed eventually, because damn. That's always looked painful to me. I think it would be a neat character tic if Hisao's repeated use of 'hustle and bustle' was intentional. It's folksy and kind of old man-ish, whi...

Why do you think Misha shouldn't stay in contact with Shizune? I think there's an entertaining rant here about Shizune being a crappy friend and/or person.

Re: What hurts the most?

There's not much in the game that I found hurtful. I love drama and angst in stories, so the scenes with the most intense sadness and anger are often my favorites. The death of Emi's father was painful, though, since it made me think about if I lost my dad in such a way. Shizune's entire route after...

Re: The Ultimate Dude Magnet

When it comes to quantity, that would probably be Lilly, as Guest explained. The others are more potent in other ways, though. Sae might win when it comes to duration, seeing as she's given Nomiya blue balls for potentially decades. I find it hard to imagine that Meiko wasn't very popular in her you...
