Thanks, Odd, for your reply. I understand your point of view about everything, and I hope the following chapters will erase some doubts you may have. I'm taking my time to avoid mistakes as much as possible, but, indeed, some things has to be modified. Every review helps me, and I take everything in...

Re: Flowers Before the Fireflies - A Miki Pseudo-route (Updated 12/10/19)

Welcome back Pablo. You don't have to justify yourself, everyone has their own problems, and it can impact their writing. So, don't feel bad about it, it's still good to see people come back to the forum. I really liked your chapter, especially the last part. The fact that Hisao wants to be kind wit...

Re: Lullaby of an open heart - A Saki pseudo-route - Act I-I added 01/08/2021

Act I: Adagio Ouverture This scene takes place on Tuesday, during most of the smalltalk scene Waking up in an unfamiliar room is a jarring feeling. This is the third room this year that I’m supposed to call ‘mine’, but I feel like a complete stranger here. My bags are against the wall, my medicatio...

Lullaby of an open heart - A Saki pseudo-route

When the April Fools Joke was released, I was in love with Saki and Rika, but especially Saki. I refused to admit that Saki would stay a joke, this character had so much potential, and her design was lovely. As the years passed, Saki simply became my favorite "non-existent" character, all ...

Re: Post-PhD, I spent a year writing this 60,000 word KS Essay

This is one of the best thing I've ever read about the game, so I just have to say: Thank you. This was both passionate and analytic, as everything about a game should be. I really liked reading this essay, and this is one of the best things I've ever read about a game. Thank you so much.

Thanks Brythain, I appreciate it.
At first glance, I wasn't aware of the play on words in the title, but it can work, yes XD

Act I : Acceptance Distance It’s three in the morning, Mom wakes me up by stroking my hair, and tells me we’ll leave in half an hour. Today, I’m going to my new school, it is both exciting and frightening. My parents have prepared me for my new life, but I’m still afraid because this is happening t...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (20201207 The Ooe Way—A Natsume Fic)

This was so cute. I love pieces like that, about the characters childhood. Some sisters action is what I needed, I don't even know why, but I needed it. This was wonderfully made, you did a really great job. Thanks for that, really, I mean it. It was great.

Re: Secret Santa 2020 - Story collection

Our pal Brister already knows what I think about his story, it's wonderful, I really liked it, it was funny and filled with emotions, he did a really good job. The judgment lines in the dialogues are gems, litteraly. You have a think for dialogues, buddy, I'm pretty jealous about that. But, seeing s...

Re: Sweetest Requiem - A Saki Pseudo-Route (Updated 1/2/2020)

Hi there, You don't have to justify yourself, we can understand what happens, and no one will blame you for that. Concerning your thoughts about changing your route or carry on that way, the only thing I have to say is : Do what you want. You're the only master of your fate, and you have to do what ...

Oh fuck, this will destroy everything I would have planned for her for a future FF.

Re: Yamaku Book Club (20201207 The Ooe Way—A Natsume Fic)

When I see a Natsume fic, I'm happy. I'm not very fond of the writing, I have to say, but so far, it's not too shabby. It's a bit forced, yeah, a bit akward too, and yes, writing an article about the new student would be really akward. That being said, that was quite a fun read. Waaaaaaay better tha...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (20201116 LOL Quartet)

I have to say, in my humble opinion, the last one is the worst. Well, we all know it was supposed to work on the shock factory... But, at least, try to do something realistic... It even DOESN'T work like that. I'm ok with the shocking value, but at least, it needs to be kinda realistic....
