Re: What If Katawa Shoujo Never Existed?
Probably would've been down a few conclusions about myself. But for the most part, this is a silly question, I think. There are things that don't exist as of now -If that makes sense-, which will consequently never affect you. Doesn't mean you should mull over possibilities.

Re: Am I the only one that enjoyed Shizune's route?
I felt it was less of a "Shizune" route and more of a "Shizune & Misha" route. As a result, I didn't enjoy it as much as I could've due to having completely different expectations then what was provided. Going to have to give it a second read through, remembering this time to...

Re: Would you play a "mental disability" VN similar to KS?
I would have to say it depends on what disabilities you bring to the table. No matter what, though, such a VN is going to be extremely disturbing to read at times. I had to go to a special class for the mentally disabled for one year in high school. not. fun. Hit me with a PM, though, if you would l...

I got Hanako in the demo, but wound up getting Rin in the main game proper.
Loved both routes TBH.

Re: Game of the Year?
Well, it's not really a game, more like a interractive book.
Still loved the shit out of it, and Rin's path is probably among my favorite books period.
This is coming from a man who hates romance novels with a undying fury.

Re: Discussion - Emi Route (*Spoilers* Warning)
I think it was a good route, but it was damn short. It all ties together if you take a few minutes to think about it, but it was still too short, imo. The cinematic was different from the rest, and....well, I think It was somewhat ironic that it was Hisao who initaly rejects her help, with Emi takin...

Re: Katawa Shoujo full flowchart
Emi's path spoilers! It might be important to note that talking to her mum gives you different scenes then if you didn't talk to her. Specifically, A Swing and A Miss and Saving Throw (Both act 4, and only if you talk to Emi's mum) vs Instant Replay (Act 3, and only if you don't talk to Emi's mum)-A...

Re: Your favourite piece of the OST?
I have to say
It's kind of ironic that, despite the fact that the piano is by and far the most-played instrument, there is not a single piano to be found in the entire game.

Re: Rin's Path discussion *spoilers*
On a amusing note, Rin's path is easily the single most complicated of them all in terms of branching paths.
SPOILERS! Flowchart: http://filesmelt.com/dl/KatawaShoujoFlowchartv27.png
Rin's path is the clusterfuck of orange in the bottom middlehalf.

Re: Shizune's path
Well, just finished Shizune's, second to last of the paths I'm doing. It was amazingly boring. As others have brought up in this thread, there was no conflict. It was...all top notch, art, word choice, and music wise, but...It was just boring. Also, only one choice. The fuck's up with that? I mean y...

Re: Rin's Path discussion *spoilers*
Despite this being the route that made me think the hardest, it is also at the same time leaving me quite wordless. So i'll just make a list of comments. The first H scene was utterly brutal. Goddamn. Easily one of the single most heart-wrenching things I have read. It just make the second one that ...

How in the hell does Rin's hair stay groomed?
A million other questions I could ask, but that one bothers me so I'm asking it.

Re: The Hanako Thread - Spoilers, obviously
Hanako's route is my favorite so far, though I've yet to do Lilly's or Rin's routes. It really leaves a lot of room for thinking about, and is the only route that I find myself thinking about constantly even after it's been completed. It will be hard for the two remaining routes to follow this one ...

Re: Does Rin have Asperger Syndrome?
For me, at least with my life, Aspergers is both a gift and a curse It is a gift in the terms that I excel in the areas of technology and music, yet it is a curse in the terms that I'm insanely socially awkward, and prone to bulling. Any non-aspies here, it's hell, let me tell you. Although it woul...
