that's kind of the point of the bad end. The characters make all the wrong choices. Therefore giving you the worst possible outcome. The good end is them making all of the right choices, or at least enough of them to get a satisfactory ending. What if a bad ending is build upon a series of choices ...

I love your writing, blah blah blah. . . I would of been content with this chapter if you had just made them talk it out in the shed, but you had to go and not only throw the unexpected at my face, blowing my mind but also make me laugh my ass off.
