I'm actually a huge fan of this story now. I love how you're one of the first people to make Kenji into someone actually likeable without derailing his character.

Hanako would look good in a halter top (the scars on her right shoulder would look AMAZING), but...you have derailed Hanako's character so much...it's hard to recognize her.

Anyway, many characters at Yamaku have health problems or other various disabilities that make it almost impossible to have a Mary Sue or Gary Stu-like character. Then again, perfectly healthy people do attend Yamaku...

Oh snap! I was wondering why Rin was in Yamaku in the first place, since thalidomide (the supposed reason she was born arm-less) was banned around the 60's or 70's. It all makes sense!

So...yeah. A toaster won the contest. If you're able to move about like The Brave Little Toaster, I'd assume being a household appliance isn't a disability.
