Re: Similar games to Katawa Shoujo
Well, I'm not sure how similar it is to KS, but I've been playing Tsukihime again recently, and it's really good. Quite an emotional story as you get further in the game, and it has great characters and a pretty good storyline. So maybe you should look into playing it if you haven't already. Besides...

Re: Hanako cosplay - some help needed...
Heh, thanks. We've got a Lilly coming to Otakon as well, and if my friend ends up going she'll be a Rin. Should be a lot of fun! Out of curiosity, how's your friend planning on getting around the arms issue for Rin? Is she just planning on hiding them in her sleeves, or does she have some other plan?

Re: Voices of the girls as you imagine them
Hanako: I've tried thinking of alternatives, but I think everyone can agree that a voice like Hinata's works best here. Lilly: Takano Miyo from Higurashi, just with a bit less evil. Emi: Something like Nanoha or Mei from Clannad. Misha: Minorin's voice would work well I think. Rin: Ugh, this is a bi...

Re: LOL guys!!
Muto's innate House-ness also made me lol a bit at first, though then I started playing Tsukihime again, and noticed how he vaguely looks like Nrvnqsr/Nero Chaos as well, which made me lol even harder. That said though, the funniest part of the game for me so far has to be Rin's various odd quips.

Re: Favorite girl.
After thinking about it again a bit more, Rin is probably my favorite girl, not Hanako. She's just so hilariously awesome, and seems like a very interesting person to hang out with. Not sure that I'd want to date her though, those romantic feelings are still reserved more for Hanako, who is just too...

Re: About BG's and some weird glitch on EEEPC
I rather like the backgrounds as they are. Whether they're photo-based or drawn, they're quite pleasant to look at. They don't obtrude in the way of the characters or anything, nor do they stand out or look awkward, like in some VNs (Case in point, Tsukihime: Why is everything so Blue in that game!?)

Re: Really really REALLY dumb questions
Wow, that just gave me a mental image of Rin with gun-arms, ala Barret from FFVII. And here I thought she couldn't get any better.ZettoSan wrote:For Rin and Emi - If you could be outfitted with artificial limbs loaded with the weapon of your choice, what would you use?

Re: Katawa Shoujo Act 1 Preview feedback thread
Well, I played through around half of the demo's routes a few days ago, and am getting around to finishing the rest now. So far though, everything seems excellent. I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up being on of my favorite VNs ever if the quality remains as high (or gets even higher) in the fin...

Re: Disabled Developers / Players?
Well it's not as bad a disability as the girls in KS face, I do have a number of disabilities that I always had trouble coming to terms with in the past. For one thing, I've always been a bit autistic, having Asperger's Syndrome, so I understand the difficulties that people like those at Yamaku Acad...

Re: All ages version?
Just so you know, I'm totally going to play KS to completion once the full version get released, whether it's H-oriented or not. But personally, I don't feel the H-aspect of the game is really necessary to the game from what I've learned about it by playing the demo. It honestly feels more like a ga...

Re: How'd you find yourself here?
I was burning time yesterday on /jp/ for the first time in a while, and saw everyone was talking about KS over there, which clued me in that the demo had been released. So then I came over and downloaded the game, and it was wonderful, so I decided to come over here after I beat it to talk about it ...

Re: Favorite girl.
For me,it's: 1. Hanako - She's just too adorably shy not to love. I guess I have a thing for girls like that. Besides that though, having eczema myself, I can sympathize with her burn condition somewhat. 2. Rin - She's odd, but I feel like she has some potential to have an interesting route when the...
