Re: Emi inspired running/workout

It's not like this thread is an exclusive club with rules and regulations regarding it's membership :P If you want to read it or post on it, doso. If you want to talk about any exercise you may or may not have done as well, so much the better :P btw, thanks HH for putting E100PU in the OP :D Edit: T...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Week 1 day 2 of pushups complete. I don't know if it was because I didn't run first like last time, or if I'm actually getting stronger already, but it was a little easier than day 1. It's that you didn't run first. Running is a low-energy long activity, and will just generally deplete your energy ...

Legally, no still.
If it was literally just for yourself though, who'd know?

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

My exercise has officially been postponed for the time being. As those of you with good memories will remember, I'm now working at a new job (which thankfully isn't too energy intensive), however the gap between end of jobseekers payment and when my work actually pays me means I have a very slim mon...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

One thing I did want to ask, though: what's the best time and way to hydrate? I'm sweating more than I was before now that I'm really getting active, and I want to know how best to replenish my fluids (and stay well-watered overall; it helps burn fat). I avoided drinking anything at all after my jo...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Glad to have helped some people :) W3D1 after three weeks of not running actually went smoother than the first time I did W3D1. I really don't understand how my body works. I had the same thing with pushups as well. I think a couple of days isn't enough time to 100% recover from exrecising. It recov...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

btw, I'm kinda puzzled on this. So since I got 10 push-ups before, that means I should start at week 2 right? And the 5+ on day 1 means as long as I can keep going? (I know, noob questions...Just wanna be sure dood.) Yup, and yup. Have clarified on main 100PU guide, and will post an updated version...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Yea, I really didn't like the different streams on the normal program, because if you got to the end of W6 on the lowest stream, it seemed to be to be far, far harder to get the 100PU than if you were on the highest stream, meaning you'd just end up doing another two weeks of the program to push up ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

(Though, I find it quite hard to believe Emi would do push-ups. So can you make a Rin guide on that? That'd be fun!) You find it easier to believe Rin'd do pushups than Emi would? ...ok then. Yea, Rin version will be forthcoming, as will a slightly improved Emi version. I just wanted to get a beta ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/4955/s100pushupchallengev05.jpg I'm looking for feedback from it atm. I'm really not satisfied with the layout in the centre, the running one had the wonderful pictures there, which both made it brighter, removed words and were necessary. In the pushup one... I re...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

If it makes you guys feel any better, on my endurance test I did 30 pushups and moved onto W3 column 3 to start with and felt awesome :D First day, I didn't get anywhere close to completing it. Repeat that for about 3 days before I twigged about leaving bigger breaks inbetween sets, when I finally m...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Emi's pushup guide is about 70% done. I've sorted layout, colours and everything, just trying to work out how to make it more visually pleasing. EC25K had the whole running/jogging stick men, which added some nice pictures explaining what was going on, as well as making it far less wordy, and having...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I decided that I should do the 100 pushup challenge as well. However, while the stuff at 100 pushups is nice it is not Emi themed so it is less motivating. Anyone want to try and make an infograph similar to the one we have for running? I would but I wouldn't know how to go about doing it. I might ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

So all I gotta do is push myself to my limit, then rest for 45 sec. then keep doing 20's. Sounds doable enough to me. I shall start tomorrow then! (Though I think i'll go with 15 and lift off from there.) thanks for them tips mate. Wait, what? I meant that what you should do is push yourself to you...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Good on you for doing that extra one. :D *shakes fist* It was WAY harder than the first 50 :P How did you get used to that? I mean after 20 push-ups, I have to rest for a min. to get to another 10 coz my arms are getting...well, weak. It really builds up without you noticing. I started off with 30 ...
