There's also a lot of character relationships. In particular, Lily's and Shizune's families being so close didn't change with your route choice, at all . There was more than just Hisao's issues, but again, this is probably an inescapable part of the medium and I should get over it. I knew it wasn't...

Anyone else here think that Shizune's H-scenes could've been taken out of the game, and the story wouldn't have changed much? It does make her arc move a bit, but, unlike Hanako's, it didn't really feel necessary to me that she had to have sex with Hisao. I actually found the first one a bit rapey....
