Re: KS forum in a nutshell?
Guest Poster used to be a guest poster when posting as a guest was allowed, but when that feature was disabled then guest poster had to register to be able to post again. I initially simply typed "Guest" into the text field, but at some point someone registered "Guest" so I started consistently usi...

Re: Scar Tissue- A Hanako Story (Pseudo-Complete)
There's an epilogue here. It doesn't really continue the story...merely ends it with a bang. (a gang bang to be precise)

Re: Dissapointed with Hanako's Arc
That's kind of easy to say. It was a bit tricky with Hanako. Near the start of Act 3, Hisao had already somewhat reached the point where he concluded that he liked her and it's implied he was playing with the thought of asking her out. Then he lets slip in class that he and Lilly went to town to buy...

Re: Your "true ending" and/or OTP
I think the main reason Hanako's deeper issues only come to the surface in her own route is partially practicality. She's one of the more troubled main characters so if her entire set of baggage were shown in Lilly's route, her problems might end up making Lilly's tiny by comparison and she'd end up...

Re: Dissapointed with Hanako's Arc
It would be better that the landmines actually blow up. The panic attacks and depression end up flying over people's heads. My opinion is that it is better to disarm a landmine than to blow one up. The panic attacks and depression flew up over her classmates' heads, but not over the school's nursin...

Re: Dissapointed with Hanako's Arc
Unlike most likers of her route, I'm actually more in favour of her rising to the challenge. As such, I'm one of those who are likely to poke her into asserting herself. As such, the H-scene was no big deal. That might very well be happening already if she gets Cognitive Behavior Therapy which (amo...

Re: If Hanako's scars looked like this...
There's no way Hanako was a 95% case. She's probably closer to somewhere between 30% and 40%.

Re: What do you think Hanako's funeral will be like?
Yamaku and Hanako have a better relationship than Hanako used to have with her elementary and middle school. Hanako considers Yamaku a place where she can find shelter from the world that pretty much turned its back on her. Yamaku as an institution tries to help Hanako by letting her have breathing ...

Re: What do you think Hanako's funeral will be like?
In her own route, maybe. In other routes, I wager it'd go more slowly. Lilly points out in her own route that it was Hisao's friendship that helped Hanako develop further. If he never interacted with Hanako (and he doesn't in other routes safe for that brief chess game with Shizune), she'd probably ...

Re: Your "true ending" and/or OTP
I wondered about the contrast between Hanako-arc Hanako and Lilly-arc Hanako too and what warwise says is probably correct. In her own arc Hisao's attention puts additional pressure on Hanako. This may seem contradictory because Hanako likes Hisao and it's suggested she has a slight crush on him in ...

Re: Dissapointed with Hanako's Arc
To those who suggest Hanako stripping naked was merely a platonic gesture to show off her scars...why would Hanako do that when the very problem she was hoping to fix was the very fact that her relationship with Hisao was still platonic even though she wanted it to be more than that? If you were stu...

You know Xanatos, "seeing something in someone's eyes" is just a saying. Don't take it completely literally. What it really means is taking a look at the face and interpreting the non-verbal cues they give off. And yes, some people can read stuff from someone's expression. Personally I can't...I'm n...

Re: What do you think Hanako's funeral will be like?
But if you seriously believe some elementary school bullies would crash a funeral to flambe her corpse...Well...There aren't enough ways to describe how fucked up your head must be... As a rule, elementary school bullies practically forget about their victim after they move to middle school or at l...

Re: What do you think Hanako's funeral will be like?
It'd be attended by her friends, most likely, as is the case with most people who die and who don't have any family left. That said, Hanako isn't suicidal and unlike Hisao isn't in danger of dying at a moment's notice. BTW, you tend to be rather obsessed with morbid or disturbing scenarios. I hope t...

Re: Rin's Path discussion *spoilers*
Yes I have a lot of red flags. They're things people don't really understand about me because not many people live as I do. At 30 years old, I'm still saving myself for marriage, for one. I'm not with "the ways of the world" so to speak. Doesn't mean I can't still get along with people. They just w...
