Re: Misha Route Collection

Well the way i see it, rather than have a rather *grey area* of what is deemed good or not (since that is entirely subjective), I would imagine having it list every fic, by character category done on this forum also stating if its completed, in progress or dead fic and a link to the front page of e...

Re: Sisterhood (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)

And that makes for my daily dose of random trivia.

Re: What to change

The hollow feeling will probably subside eventually. Just tough it out a bit and join the legion of Hanako-fans that already frequent this forum.

Re: Developments (Lilly Bad End Continuation) [Ch 4 up 8/10]

Yes, but whether that initial curiousity turns into actual attraction is determined by the way Hisao develops. Personally, I don't think all females (with the exception of Rin) actually developed attraction to Hisao...merely some curiousity about the new guy. If Hisao follows Shizune's route, for ex...

Re: Preconceptions about the routes

About the only thing that really surprised me was Lilly being Shizune's cousin - I still don't understand the reason for that. Maybe it wasn't about Lilly and Shizune being cousins, but Akira and Hideaki being cousins...a saving throw against Akira straying into the squicky shotacon territory. Or i...

Re: Preconceptions about the routes

Well, Akira definitely has that train in mind. My memory is foggy about Lilly, but she does appear to jump at the call when the folks summoned her to Scotland. There is probably something. On Hanako, it becomes a minefield if you overanalyze on whether you're being overprotective or insensitive wit...

Re: If 4LS Announced DLC...

I think that kind of thing would be extremely depressing with Hanako. Hardly for the faint of heart, if you pardon the expression.

Re: Sisterhood (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)

This is kind of off-topic, but is there a difference between the word college and university in English? In my country, the two are used for two different types of education with the former being slightly lower than the latter. (but still highly regarded) In English, the two seem to be used almost a...

Re: If 4LS Announced DLC...

I know there's a popular fanfic regarding Akira, but I personally still have some trouble envisioning a real Akira route since it's stated in the game that Akira has a boyfriend with whom her bond is close enough to eventually invite him to migrate along with her in Lilly's route. I don't see Akira ...

Re: Sisterhood (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)

People find validation in careers and the like rather than having lots of children. That's actually been the case for Japanese men for generations. Due to Japanese work culture, his job was often the only determining factor for his identity that the average salaryman had. The company was the real f...

Re: Ask!

It did happen while they were all asleep, so it's doubtful she or her parents were responsible for it.

Re: Sisterhood (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)

I doubt a sleepy town would have an orphanage though and since Hanako returned to her old school after her accident, the orphanage was probably not too far from where she lived before the fire. Hanako doesn't strike me as a country girl either.

Re: Sisterhood (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)

It wasn't really meant as a joke. It's just that over 99% of all Japanese are cremated after death and I doubt Hanako's parents were an exception. Japan's a crowded country where people are kinda stuffed together and I suppose that also counts for cemetaries...burying everyone just takes too much ro...

Re: Ask!

If you read through Hanako's route again, you'll find out that Hanako's issues aren't merely due to her scarring or loss of her parents, but also very much due to the way she was treated in elementary and middle school afterwards. It's left a much bigger impression on her personality than the former...

Re: Akira Pseudo-Route [Updated as of 7/28]

I don't think Akira ever even mentions the two being brothers, merely the fact they dislike each other. And Hideaki's statement isn't a typo. A typo is a misspelled word. Accidentally writing "yes" while you meant "no" isn't a typo. Of course, I'm being overly persnickety here. :) But at the same ti...
