Re: Yamaku's Swimming Pool
Really though, having disabled family members, I think he'd have enough sense not to say anything rude to Hanako. Except for the fact that both his sister and his cousin have had their disabilities since birth and are comfortable with them, so tact was never really that necessary around them to beg...

Re: Sisterhood (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)
I think a lot of us are just curious about how they took the news. Overall, pretty well. You have to remember that at the beginning of Act 1, Hisao's folks are a lot more open-minded about Yamaku than Hisao himself, so I figured they wouldn't be too shocked that their son's new girlfriend is disabl...

Re: Sisterhood (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)
This was amazing. I shall now and forever (I think I just make an unintentional reference to a game... +5 points in something or other to whoever know what game I'm talking about) think of this as canon. Well, except for the mention of Misha cutting her hair. I'm just sad we didn't get to see the d...

Re: Developments (Post-Lilly Bad End) [Interlude 2 up 10/14]
True enough. However, in every fan-verse there are things that are portrayed in a certain way nearly universally (e.g., as mentioned in another thread, that Kenji's never-named-in-canon ex-girlfriend is Yuuko), to the point that it gets questioned when portrayed otherwise. I certainly wouldn't be a...

Re: Yamaku's Swimming Pool
I don't think Lilly's been lacking in the friends department. It's just that she doesn't enjoy swimming...or pretty anything else that requires a great deal of physical activity. (with the exception of one particular type of physical activity)

Re: Yamaku's Swimming Pool
It's actually stated in the VN that Lilly can swim. She's just not as fond of it as Akira is.

Re: Yamaku's Swimming Pool
One thing I wish the VN had touched on more is the reaction of people outside the school to the girls disabilities. I wonder how they'd handle discrimination outside the confines of the school. I'd assume it's the usual stare, or whispers and all that kind of stuff. Yamaku students probably already...

Re: Yamaku's Swimming Pool
Where I come from, most kids learn to swim around their 6th or 7th . Hanako was 8 when she got hospitalized, so she could have learned it before then. I don't think she visited many swimming pools afterwards. In fact, I think the point of her being comfortable enough with her scars to wear a swimsu...

Re: Lilly's Route (SPOILERS)
She probably would have waited until the moment the rest of the school would know...maybe a second or so sooner. Lilly didn't really know how to handle the situation, so she simply kept putting it off while praying for a miracle of some kind.

Re: Lilly's Route (SPOILERS)
In fact, Lilly doesn't tell Hisao she has decided. She just drops a few reasons why it would be ok for her to go, then she waits for his reaction. I do believe she mentions that she decided "some time ago", but when you get to the reasons she gives as justifications, it's made painfully obvious tha...

Re: Flower and Snow
Isn't it smarter to decide on names for the characters when you think up the main plot of the story? (before you start writing it, that is) I can imagine changing character names in the middle of a story is going to confuse people.

Re: Sisterhood (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)
Well, ThatGuy's epilogue does feature a part about Hanako in a swimsuit, but a beach/pool episode isn't among the ideas I have in the back of my head and there'd be no logical place for me to insert one.

Re: Sisterhood (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)
Personally, I don't think the Satous have a private swimming pool, since Lilly mentioned that Akira took her swimming at the beach. They'd probably be using the pool if there was one, since it's safer for a blind person to use. And this is bad? Nope, just not something Hanako'd be very likely to do....

Re: Akira Pseudo-Route [Updated as of 8/31]
Without wanting to go too much into Hanako... You could say that Hanako has deeper issues that aren't shown to the player in Lilly's route because said issues would quickly hog the plotline and drag the main conflict off the rails. So keeping those issues off the radar, even though they're definitel...
