Re: Lilly's Route (SPOILERS)
That's not what the obstacle was. It was Lilly's aversion to asserting her own wants and needs if they're in opposition to her loved ones' (see also: yamato nadeshiko). And, by extension, Hisao's reflection of this same tendency. Both keep it bottled up, and sadness and loss ensues (or nearly does,...

Dunno. Isn't the best place to either praise or moan about a fic still the fic's thread itself.

Re: Which ending(s) do you consider the worst?
You don't need to be super confident in your own sexuality to make gay jokes towards an easy target. All you need to be is moderately confident and not too icky about homosexuality in general. I didn't see Nurse's jokes as a sign of either out-of-the-ordinary confidence or homosexuality. He was just...

Re: How would you feel about being able to change Hisao's na
No doubt some people would REALLY like to put in their own name for scenes like the one where Lilly has her ILOVEYOUILOVEYOUILOVEYOU moment, but then those same people would probably be even more prone to avoiding the bad ends of the routes because they wouldn't be able to handle the idea of the gir...

Re: Sisterhood (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)
Thanks for posting this, I'm about to read through most of it. I don't see reading about Lilly and Akira being too important, and I wish people would just stick to telling the story from Hisao's point of view and quit with the fanservice and all the other random stuff I see in almost every piece of...

She never says yes, but she non-verbally indicates she wants to proceed at several points. That really should have been the end of the discussion.

Why do you need to be super secure in your straightness in order to troll your protegee's new friend who seems prone to taking your baiting attempts hook, line and sinker?

Re: What do you think of Nomiya?
I don't like him cuz he is kind of creepy. Even for teaching standards he is really creepy lol. Plus none of the characters really like him either, so I would just assume that he was meant to be creepy. That is the main reason quite a few of the characters don't like him either, but they describe m...

Re: What do you think of Nomiya?
In his defense, Rin herself has no concept of what she really wants either. Even in her good ending, she still has no idea. The process of cranking out picture after picture after picture is actually rather close to the real-life process artists have to follow in order to go professional. It was nev...

Re: The "feels" bazaar.
And nah, I've never read it because it's 99% sure to disappoint and I'd rather read something with better odds So if I wanted to prevent you from reading someone's fanfic, all I'd have to do to manipulate you into steering clear of it would be to say good things about it? I should try that sometime...

Re: Alternative Pairings
Actually, storyline events established through the official story (rather than fanfics) are "canon".
A "cannon" is a device that's used to shoot projectiles at people you don't like or that's used to transport RPG heroes or barons with an overactive imagination.

Re: Katawa junkies?
Lilly's the one who tends to get hooked on things, not Hanako. I haven't seen Hanako trying to sneak in a drink whenever she has the opportunity unlike a certain best friend of hers. As for Akira, just because someone drinks a couple of beers every now and then doesn't mean they'll jump off slippery...

Re: Katawa junkies?
Where does Akira abuse it? She's old enough to drink legally and she doesn't get drunk in a single scene.
