I think I speak for everyone when I say that we're not trying to discourage you

Seeing that the topic creator hasn't posted since the flood of warnings was unleashed, we probably succeeded in doing just that.

That whole thing always bugged me. Lilly had just conveniently put Hanako to bed during the cornfield scene. That always seemed awfully condescending to Hanako. Why? Hanako, who might have seen her own parents die in front of her, saw another person she cared about have a light brush with death. It...

I always wondered about Hanako in Lilly's route... I... don't remember... but does Hanako confess to Hisao in that route? If so, that's a pretty big punch in the gut. She doesn't and gracefully backs off after Hisao and Lilly get together, but it's somewhat implied that Hanako is attracted to Hisao...

I always got the impression that Hanako's favourite color was pink since she's pretty much the girliest of the bunch.

She isn't really pushing through them. She's running away from them. Until her good end, that is.

I must admit the "Emi dying of a broken heart"-thing came across to me as weird. It almost sounds like Emi lost her will to live after Hisao died, gave up and faded away. Emi's dealt with loss before. We also know how she deals with it...by running her artificial legs off and trudging on. She hates ...

Not to mention the fact not all writers/readers are fans of the Kenji/Yuuko ship. I personally feel it stretches the suspension of disbelief and would come across as jarring in a fairly down-to-earth fic like this one.

Well, she is the sister of Lilly's father, and it's implied that Akira is in his family business, so.... very likely. Even if the Satous are extremely rich, that doesn't mean Jigoro has access to the fortune of his wife's parents. He'd have to marry into the Satou family for that, instead of Mayoi ...

If Shizune's mom isn't alive anymore, it could be that Shizune lost her at the age of 6. It could be that previous to that point, Shizune would interact with her father (not literally talk) due to her mom acting as the motivator and in-between. Rather than coming up with theories about the parents of 3 of the girls all holding their kids back, it may be easier to go with the fact that the devs overlooked the school year issue and stretch suspension of disbelief a bit to let all the girls (except Emi) enter elementary school at the same mom...

To be fair, the opening post already pointed out that this was going to be about a Gary/Marty Stu. That doesn't make his interactions easier on the suspension of disbelief, of course.
