Re: Misha and Shizune's reaction to one of Hisao's attacks
Maybe because being with them isn't too heart-intensive and has no chance whatsoever to potentially kill him. (unlike Emi's on running, Lilly and her 'quirks', etc.) If Lilly can kill him by having sex with him, which I assume you're referring to with "quirks", the same would logically apply to Shi...

Kenji would probably assume one of the feminists poured something in Hisao's drink and would start sweeping the campus for Hisao's would-be assassin.

Re: Ever stop and realize how many bad endings happen every
In real life, a bad end is not really an end either. Life simply goes on and contrary to the fanfiction universe, I see very few people moping for the rest of their life about a releationship that went bad years ago.
Moral of the thread: try not to see real-life relationships in VN terms.

Re: Hisao Nakai - Thoughts on our protagonist?
I actually found the Hanako route Hisao more irritating. He can be very patronizing - consider that in "Shady Encounter", he says something to Misha to the effect of "If [Hanako] needs me to be a prince, I will be that prince". Fundamentally, that's pretty damn arrogant of him. Granted, that's kind...

That picnic picture was actually the 100%-completion picture that appeared in the Act 1 demo.

Re: How Happy Is Misha? Really? (Some Spoilers)
Note that the "it would be better if I was dead"-line seems a bit similar to Hanako's "it would be better if I didn't exist"-line. It doesn't necessarily imply they're suicidal.

Re: Shizune's Mum
Meanwhile, since this was even an option I don't think her grandparents were ailing that badly, or nobody would have considered putting them in the care of a blind twelve year old. Yeah, they're probably still around, but Akira worried that even then they'd be too focussed on their own health and w...

Re: Shizune's Mum
About the strong points and flaws posted by Numb: Not mentioned to be Shizune's mother by Lilly or Akira because they assume you don't care and don't want to bother you with pointless details. Shizune is consistently portrayed as a friend to Hisao even in the routes that aren't her own. Lilly assumi...

Re: Misha and Shizune's reaction to one of Hisao's attacks
I think their reaction both during the event and during the aftermath would mirror the way they acted during Hanako's nervous breakdown in class, except maybe kicked up one or two notches.

Re: Shizune's Mum
I don't have an extremely high opinion of Jigoro, but I think even he wouldn't be nasty enough to deny his own children a chance to see a mom who seems, at the moment Lilly and Akira are asked to come over, to be either terminal or close to it. (not to mention that Shizune is an adult already and Ji...

Re: Shizune's Mum
I don't really have an alternative, but I kind of doubt that one since Lilly and Akira are summoned there (despite Lilly commenting she barely even knows that aunt and can't even remember her voice) while Shizune and Hideaki aren't. The more logical conclusion I'd come to would be that that aunt is ...

That's not how fanon works. Can we collectively come to a consensus about how that works and close that case fanonically?

Re: Favourite artworks - reprise.
I don't think it was the shed scene that made people change their minds. Prior to the release of the full version, people partially judged the characters on their Act 1 ending. Emi's act1 ending was the worst one by far. Hisao didn't even stay around to watch the fireworks. That and Emi looked way t...

Re: How to write the characters
Oh, a better example may be her "experiments", but fanon is blending with canon there. (I know I've at least read fanfic that's implied that she will intentionally do a "bad" experiment just to troll Lilly.) Yeah, fanon is probably blending with canon there. In the VN, Hanako's convinced that Lilly...
