Re: Ask!
Yeah, it's widely used, but it uses the same leitmotiff as Painful History, so I always figured it to be Hanako's secondary theme.

Re: Developments (Post-Lilly Neutral End) - Chapter 46 up 7/
So I see 3 options for her: Akira's and her home from before Scotland, her grand parents (who were originally supposed to take care of Lilly instead of Akira) or the summer house in Hokkaido. I think only the first one remains. The summer home was sold before the end of Lilly's route (Akira didn't ...

Re: Ignorant things said by Internet know-it-alls
Feminism is inheritly flawed. as it's name suggests, it empowers women over men, not promoting equality. Where did you get that definition from? I was always taught that feminism is about equality between men and women, not superiority of one gender over the other. Most actual feminists, not the ra...

Re: Which ending do you consider to be the most canon?
Emi has a bush too, actually. It's mentioned in one of her H-scenes. Hanako could have one which was obscured by her panties during her H-scene.

Re: Why Hanako Must Be Wearing A Wig
That's purely a POV thing. Clearly if you say who that classmate is, the argument is exposed. I don't really see how mentioning that Hisao is that classmate invalidates the argument at all. The point is still that when putting the routes side by side, Hanako starts improving sooner in her own route...

Re: Why Hanako Must Be Wearing A Wig
Actually Hanako improves better/faster when Hisao is on Lilly's route. Not when you compare the two routes side by side at the same moment in time. Hanako's route a few days after her birthday: Has gone into the city of her own a few days earlier, started a romantic relationship with a classmate an...

Re: Random KS Discussion
I wouldn't blame anyone for rejecting the Kenji/Yuuko ship (not a big fan of it myself), but you're aware of the fact that Lilly never dated anyone before and is a virgin, right?

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Now Reading: Mendācium)
Honestly, while some girls are more burdened by their conditions than others, the logic of 'I want to be loved by someone normal' would be hypocritical and out of character for ANY of the girls, not just Hanako.

Re: Ask!
Lilly's route is rather unique in the sense that rather than having some scenes exclusive to the "bad" route, the "good route" simply cuts off before Hisao has his change of heart rather than branching off into the bad route/bad ending. Were such bad-end exclusive scenes ever considered and then scr...

Re: Random KS Discussion
I'd say that Emi's bad ending definitely contained closure, but in the nastiest coldest way possible. Hisao stopped being cordial with Emi and Emi already cut Hisao loose and was almost clinically detached from him. Yes, it was kind of nasty, but on the whole it makes you appreciate the bullet you d...

Re: Random KS Discussion
I agree, however, people still have the choice to avoid certain scenes, and avoid completing the whole game. After all, doing so only gifts you with a mediocre drawing. The mediocre drawing isn't the reward. The reward is the ability to say you've experienced all the scenes and all the world and ch...

Re: Random KS Discussion
If you get the good ending, why bother going back to see the bad ending if you have no interest in it?? Because it's part of the game and an opportunity to get to know the characters better, albeit a less fuzzy side of the characters. The "no interest" sounds way too neutral to be an appropriate de...

Re: Random KS Discussion
Except nobody's dying here. (well, except for in the Kenji ending, but that scene was so over-the-top it kind of overshadowed the dramatic effects) It's the end of a high school relationship. No less, no more. Sad, but not exactly something the characters will never ever recover from, though some mi...

Re: Random KS Discussion
Have to agree, I dont want to see bad ends, doesnt mean I'm just a wuss for not wanting to see. With all due respect, I kind of think you are. The bad ends are being played up here as some hugely traumatizing experience that'll certainly leave you depressed for weeks on end if you were to play thro...
